Luxury Cedar Cabin on the Lake with Heated Pool & Hot Tub. Close to Ski resort

The cabin is a nice cozy little cabin. Stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and it’s set in a nice woodsy setting. That said, It has the strictest “rules” of any rental I’ve ever used. You were required to take a rinse shower (no soap) plus rinse your swimsuit before using hot tub. Took away from the relaxed, easy feeling of a vacation. All the hand soaps were so diluted with water it barely suds up when washing and the pump nozzles were clogged with disgusting black molding soap. We decided to buy our own soap. It would have been nice to have privacy shades on the windows. The bathrooms and bedrooms had shades, but they were see through. So, no privacy when it came to windows. Overall we had a nice weekend but I don’t know if we will stay there again.

Wonderfull Area to explore

We had a wonderful stay at Kingfisher Cove. The house was comfortable and spotless, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. The property was exactly as stated in the listing, really even better in my opinion. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We loved the cabin! Clean and comfortable. The only downside was the hot water for showers didn’t last long.

Great location, quiet neighborhood, fun layout of the house. Only negative, is we wished they had blinds or curtains that you couldn't see into Over all was good.

We stayed in the cabin for a 4 day get away. Everything went well with our stay. We had all of the ammentities that we needed.. plenty of firewood foe the fire place. Location was great for a short drive to downtown.

Our soon-to-be three year old loved staying in this firewood house, which was comfortable and situated in a quiet cul-de-sac (that is probably slightly less quiet during warmer months). Everything was as-described in the listing and we very much enjoyed the fireplace and comfortable furniture. If you have small children that are still learning to safely navigate stairs I'd recommend bringing a gate to block the stairs. We very much appreciated the supply of wood for the fireplace.

Overall really nice but couldn’t give it perfect rating. It’s clearly built to be a rental. Thin walls and very close to adjacent homes. So much so that we were awakened several times by neighbors. Fireplace is really nice and they supply plenty of wood. Hot tub was great. Only real complaint was that both toilets in the bathrooms were child sized and not elongated for adults. Makes it a little difficult for adults to use. Other than that, stay was great.

Our kids loved the cabin. Kitchen had everything we needed. Wish there were more board games (it was a rainy weekend and we spent a lot of time inside) but the fireplace was a nice feature.

I am writing while still here enjoying my coffee on the back porch and watching the squirrels play! I don’t want to leave but we only had a short weekend. We came down to celebrate my daughter’s 21st Birthday by going to the Halloween parade. We had an awesome time. This place is so close to everything we wanted to do. We were able to get everything we needed at Walmart. All was so convenient. The house is as promised. The hot tub was awesome. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed were comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a girls weekend to celebrate our 20th year after college graduation. The location was fantastic. Quiet but just a few minutes from Saugatuck and many other attractions. The cabin was great for spreading out for sleep, sitting on the back porch, and just hanging out together.

Would highly recommend to anyone considering. Very easy and convenient.

Great location easy to get to the freeway and to Saugatuck. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook. The heated pool is close by. Having a personal hot tub is nice!

We had a wonderful experience. The cabin is very cozy. We enjoyed the screened in porch and hot tub. It’s a short drive to the state park and downtown. Communication with the property owner was great.

This was our 3rd year at Kingfisher Cove! I love that the tv is not the focsl point of the living room. The house is in great shape. The owner is responsive and even got me a new pot when i asked for one! The pool is completely clean and the families were all friendly.
