Bluebird Cottage is a new home located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, centrally located between Asheville, Black Mountain, and Hendersonville, and just minutes from Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. This cozy cottage sits on a 15 acre pasture alongside the Rocky Broad River. Whether you're hiking, trout fishing, sightseeing, shopping or simply relaxing to the sounds of a mountain stream in your own personal getaway, this cottage will satisfy all your dreams.

Bluebird cottage is anewly built modern farmhouse two bedroom and two bathroom home. Sip a glass of wine, a cup of coffee, or tea on one of our two porches. One porch is screened in overlooking the Rocky Broad River where you can enjoy fishing, wading, and rafting. The front porch has a swing and love seat overlooking the 15 acre meadow with lots of wildlife.

We had a wonderful, time at the cottage. Lauria and Randy were great to work with . The cottage was very well stocked. We loved sitting on the screened in back porch and listening to the river. We would love to visit again.

Be prepared when you open the front door of this cottage. It will take your breath away ! So much attention is paid to every single details. You are surrounded by excellent restaurants within just a short drive from the cottage.. The cottage is immaculately clean. Most relaxing vacation rental we have ever stayed in. We certainly plan to return. .

The cottage is in a beautiful setting, pictures don’t do it justice! (We loved seeing the fireflies come out each night!) The cottage is the best rental we’ve ever stayed in through VRBO. It truly is like something straight from HGTV. The hosts think of every little thing to make the stay easy, lovely and fun. I couldn’t recommend it more!

We took a trip to North Carolina for Memorial Day weekend. This cottage was the perfect choice for our getaway. It was clean, beautifully decorated (think HGTV...), and has all the amenities you'll need. The owners were extremely nice as well! Our favorite part was the scenery... the front porch looks out on a field with hills in the backdrop, and there's a large stream running behind the house as well. Two great porches (front and back) to enjoy the scenery. Accessible to Asheville too: took us about a 30/35-minute drive to get there from the cottage. Nearby hiking, fishing, etc. as well. Could not have been happier with our stay. Will likely re-book this place at some point.
