Description

As indicated by its name, this chalet identical to the Upper Twin House. Like The Pioneer, these chalets are modern adaptations of the ancestral Québécois style. The window design, the slanted roof, the fireplace and chimney, as well as the exterior are all features of this style.

Newly renovated, The Lower Twin House’s design has been entirely redone.

The Twin chalets, rented together or separately, offer a comfortable space for groups. Each chalet has 5 private bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 washrooms, which offer practicality and privacy.

The abundant windows cast natural light throughout the chalets and the large terrace allows you to admire the local landscape and enjoy the fresh air. For even more tranquility, the chalet is set back on the old Avenue Royale.

The Lower Twin House can accommodate up to 15 people. The total surface is 2,350 ft2 (218 m2) across all floors. The living room floor is made of massive oak wood.

Overall, it was a lot of fun. Place is exactly as stated. Few concerns, the dry did not work well and created a lot of heat, perhaps the venting was loose but it was too dusty there to even attempt moving it to check. Floors were not clean. We were s family who take the shoes off at the door, so our feet / socks were very dirty. Bathroom showers were not the best but functional. Hot tub looks like it needed some care but seems to be better after they provided some tabs to use. The good things were everything was functional, fully equipped kitchen but we refused to use the coffee maker and toaster as they were too dirty for our liking. Corner store nearby to get items and fresh bread / croissants was awesome.

We were a group of 11 skiers and really enjoyed the property. Very spacious and clean and the property had a very well appointed kitchen. The property was in a very charming area close to the ski hill. The hot tub was very clean and firewood was plentiful. The owner was very attentive and responsive. We would certainly stay there again without hesitation.

We had an awesome time. Place was everything we hoped for. Not to far from Sainte Anne's. An Quebec city. Would definitely come back there again. Will recommend to all my friends and family. Thanks for your hospitality.

Feedback: didn't like that three of the bedrooms were in the basement, didn't like that there was no shower upstairs. Not a lot of kindling. Lot's of nice firewood but it was hidden under a tarp under a bunch of snow and we needed to search for it.. Would be nice if it was in the locker just outside the front door. We were told that there was a shuttle, but then later were told that it only ran on weekends, and we were there during the week, so that info should have been given at the time to manage expectations. Just some constructive feedback for you. Otherwise we really liked the challet and very much enjoyed our stay.
