Exceptionally lovely place to stay. Superb views of lake Windermere, and we enjoyed driving up the winding track to the property, Lovely large lounge dining room where you can look out over the lake. The kitchen is small but adequately equipped. We enjoyed our stay and felt very at home.

This property was wrongly advertised. Extremely remote and isolated. Property looks nothing like photograph. Customer Service Team at Sykes Cottages aggressive and extremely rude no help on arrival at this place. Exstensive research required before booking this flat.

Fantastic location- away from the hustle and bustle on top of a mountain. Sue was really lovely & very helpful. Can't wait to return!

Stunning views of Lake Windermere, lovely spring water, bisrdsong and bleats of sheep herald the mornings and wonderful evening sunsets. The host, Sue was very prompt in ironing out a small problem and we would certainly stay here again and recommend Skelgil to our friends

The house is very tranquil and the view is great. It is a very old house. The owner is a friendly lady who's there to help you when you have questions.
