Stayed Nov 14, 2025Beautifully clean cottage in an idyllic setting. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, which was very much appreciated for a chilly weekend, as were the fresh milk and delicious biscuits. Fantastic walks all over, every one of which our dogs loved. The cottage had everything we needed. A very well equiped kitchen, and we were happy to see for the first time in all our rentals, proper Gin glasses! Large, quality wine glasses too. In fact, the cottage was equipped with quality items...furniture, furnishings and utensils, crockery etc.The beds were very comfortable, with nice fluffy pillows. The log burner was very cosy on the chilly evenings, especially after a nice hot shower in the spacious cubicle, with a decent, powerful shower. Across the green are some great pubs serving a great range of beers and tasty food, and each one had a warm, friendly welcome. The quaint little post office and shop we found to be well equipped for anything we needed.

Stayed May 10, 2024Lovely cottage in ideal location. Just a couple of tweaks needed to make it perfect… Kitchen scissors in drawer would be helpful, more than 2 loo rolls would be welcome, and some spare (more robust) bin bags.

Stayed Apr 15, 2024We had a fabulous few days in a lovely cottage. It was situated opposite the village green and there was no problem with parking. There are 2 shops in the village which supplied all immediate needs. A special mention about the bread shop, Dales Bakery, which supplied a range of lovely breads as well as a good breakfast. Would certainly stay here again if we cam to Reeth in the future.

Stayed Aug 14, 2022Lovely wee cottage in a beautiful village. Very handy for the shop and 3 pubs within 2 mins walk. The living room is very cosy and the bedroom is lovely. The welcome pack was a bit stingy considering it's a relatively expensive cottage, just a packet of biscuits.
