Very good place to stay with family and kids for a weekend getaway, beach is only few steps away, they provided all the things you want. Will recommend for sure.

The house was clean but could use some updates. The location was amazing with beautiful sun rises and sunsets and so much to do in the nearby state and national park!!!

We spent a week on the top of a dune overlooking Lake Michigan in this beautiful home. It was spotlessly clean, and the hosts were very helpful and welcoming. The location is simply amazing - could not be better. We renewed for the same time next year by our second day. can't wait to go back!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The views were incredible and it was great to see the Chicago skyline at sunset. Susan was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. You cannot beat the easy access to the beach and close proximity to restaurants / activities. We had a blast and really enjoyed the location of the house! Our only feedback for improvement was the house was fairly dated and many items were well loved. Many of the outdoor chairs were broken or looking like they were pretty close to broken and the beds were not very comfy. The AC unit in the loft didn't seem to work either. If these items were fixed, we wouldn't hesitate to give our experience and the rental a 10 out of 5 stars instead of 4 out of 5 :)

Lovely beach house setting with a great perch overlooking the lake. When we arrived the lake sounded like an ocean and when we left it had the subtle ripple of a reservoir. The sunsets, moonrises and moon sets were spectacular. Susan was a great communicator and very welcoming. A great destination to take in nature and unwind. I would most definitely book it again.

This house can be described with two words that say it all - amazing views. Other than that there is a fully equipped kitchen inside, wood burning stove… and everything you need for a great vacation.

Our family grew up in & love the Indiana Dunes area! We spent a long Thanksgiving weekend enjoying the charm of the cottage, taking long walks on the beach, playing games, cooking / baking & watching the everchanging beauty of Lake Michigan (including stunning sunrises & sunsets with Chicago on the horizon)! Susan & Erika are great hosts! We will definitely be back to enjoy a summertime stay and hope to make our visits a summer and winter family tradition. If you are looking for a laid-back, true Indiana Dunes beachfront experience this is it!

We enjoyed the location on the beach even in the Fall. The house may need some cosmetic updates but it was very clean. We were a group of 8 ladies. I am not sure if 10 ladies would have been as comfortable. Only one shower.
