Our family of 4, 2 kiddos under 5 had a week at Loon Landing. I’ll break it down to pros and cons:Pros: easy check in, lots of fans for cooling without a/c, space for the family, a ‘private’ and shallow beach, kayaks for use, useful kitchen items like plastic bags and foil, lotttsss of games for all ages, close to some stores and town and the cabin was super neat and old inside with some charm - looks like it was once a resort!Cons: not the cleanest rental overall (stove was greasy, fans were dusty, dead ants and flies in parts of house, someone’s leftover muffin in the bunk bed…), the beach was littered with leftover fireworks including metal pieces, the well water was the worst we’ve encountered and we have well water at home even. Overall, my kids loved the beach, we made amazing memories and the weather mostly cooperated. You are very close to neighbors which was fine for us but some people might wonder. The lake is quiet and peaceful. I wish the cleaning of the house was better… gave us the icks for sure, especially for over 2K for a week!

GREAT communication! They worked with us to get an early check-in so we wouldn't miss out on the event we were attending. Beautiful place, would definitely like to stay again when it's warm and can enjoy the lake!

Cabin was perfect.Very clean.Has everything you need to cook if you want.Even a selection of spices and a starter selection of drip and Keurig coffee.Wood for fireplace ready though we did not use it.Had a little trouble with a frozen cold water pipe in the main bathroom following a week of below zero weather.Texted the property manager a 6:00 am Saturday morning. They immediately responded to take care of it.Decided the shower worked and there was a second bathroom so we advised them not to come out.Pipe thawed out a few hours later. They texted us multiple times to assure we were OK.Sure they would have come out if we needed.Cabin was great. Nice TV with selection of movies to watch. Great view of the lake. Never saw any neighbors so was very quiet and peaceful.Would rent again.
