Wonderful stay in a convenient in town location. Quiet setting. Great space with a little fridge and sink area. Comfy bed. Highly recommend.

Very nice place, quiet and everything as advertised

The hosts were friendly and the property included a lot of little amenities that many other places don't remember. They had chargers for our phones, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and soap. They also had coffee, snacks, and other things to make the stay special. The property was walking distance to all of the restaurants and stores. We really enjoyed walking downtown but we also enjoyed walking around and looking at all of the beautiful homes in the area. The mattress was a little too soft for our liking, but I understand that that's a personal preference and we like to have a harder mattress. Amazing place that we 100% recommend!

The house was clean and had everything we needed and the host were great.

I was in town for a family wedding. Perfectly delightful, safe, homey location. Short drive to Main St. Host are prompt to respond and so helpful with all of your needs. The sweet extra touches and amenities are unmatched. The setup is great for a couple or traveling alone. The Candy Shop on Main St is a must see event. And … please make sure you try the legendary Lexington BBQ while in town. You won’t be disappointed. 5 stars

Bear Cottage was just what my husband and I needed for accomodations while visiting family in the area. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The quiet neighborhood was close to quaint shops and restaurants. Greg and Kim were very friendly and available to answer any questions.We will definitely see if the Bear Cottage is available the next time we visit the area!

Bear cottage was perfect! Once inside a binder provided all the information we needed for the cottage and the area. Very clean and was equipped with extras like dishes, chargers, toiletries, etc...

This was the perfect place for me to stay for High Point Market. It was about 25 minutes away and very affordable and comfortable and in a beautiful part of town.

I really enjoy staying here as it is so neat and clean and modern. Also the coffee and amenities are wonderful!

Beautiful ‘cottage’ in a great location. Comfort inside and out, from bath towels to the bed to the outside patio AND If you happen to have forgotten something there is a good chance Kim or Greg have it available for you. The little touches, including dove chocolates were much appreciated. You can easily walk to town from this location. We would definitely stay here again.

I booked this house for my parents as a Christmas gift and they absolutely loved it! They said they had total privacy and slept wonderfully.

This property was perfect for us. The location was great We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go on downtown. The property was clean and comfortable, in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Hosts provided snacks, drinks and a few toiletries, which was thoughtful. I would definitely consider this property again if able to spend the night in Lexington.

We were very impressed with the cottage. Everything was available for our needs and comfort. We lived in Lexington (Welcome area) for 35 years, so after staying in Bear Cottage we hope it will be available in the future when we visit back in Lexington.

This is the cleanest, best organized rental on VRBO. Their information binder includes everything you need to know about the house and the area. It's a short walk to downtown and the neighborhood is beautiful. Plenty of good restaurants and interesting shops to explore. The living area is comfortable and everything we could want was provided. Kim and Greg are gracious hosts. We would gladly stay again. Thanks for a great anniversary getaway!
