Little Green Cottage - The perfect retreat

I almost hate to leave this place. It was the perfect in-between so on my camping journey. I was able to make some much needed adjustments to my equipment, have a convenient place to rest before and after the NASCAR race (Bristol is a beautiful 30 minute drive), and a place to cook my own food. This is a place I'd return to again. Thank you.

Has much potential- possibly still in transition.My comments are only to try to help this cute cottage be more successful;Fridge and stove need replacing.Freezer filled to the rim with bagged lard?Almost all pots and pans were dirty and old. Simple to replace.The toaster is disgusting!!!! Should replace ALL remote batteries on a regular basis.Bathroom toilet has shims all around- cramped and feels like it’s going to fall over every you sit on it.Not sure what’s happening with the shower - possibly still in replacement? Love the tub, but can’t take a bath as there is no drain plug.What looks like a cigarette burn hole in the couch cushion - although no smoking property.Mattress in bedroom needs to be replaced or at least flipped.Two people end up smashed against each other due to huge dip in the middle. Made for a very long nightBack yard is great - with fire pit and table/chairs.Also - a dog immediately appeared as soon as we pulled in. Scared me as we didn’t know if friendly or not. The. A second dog appeared in the evening during our time with the fire pit. This doggie wanted A LOT of attention. Very sweet but no collar so made us wonder if it’s wild and not clean. Kept laying out by the back door like it lived here.Property owners should really note the dogs in the description so guests don’t have to wonder if they are safe / clean.Again - definitely has potential if owners continue with upgrades.Other than dirty pots/pans and appliances place felt clean.

Great place! We only stayed for the night, but it was very cozy! Would book again! Only thing I’d say was a negative was the Wi-Fi. Especially in a dead zone where there was no cellular. If that were fixed, I’d have no problem rating Thu’s place five stars

The property was very clean and cozy. It had everything that we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. Well equipped. Host was great to work with. Highly recommended!

House was small but perfect for what we needed. The host was easy to communicate with and responded to our needs (even with a jump for our car!) Bed was a bit soft but other then that was a great jumping off place as an over flow for our family reunion.

Love the place but there could be improvements1) More privacy need something above the window unit, front door.2) better selection of pots and pans.3) better shower head Would I rent this again yes

We had a quick stay at the little green cottage. The place is small but it was perfect for our needs. It’s a great location for hunting, fishing etc.

Well kept, clean, nice place to unwind after a poorly scheduled work week.

We ate local to the area and were just needing a place to stay for one night a week after hurricane Helene went through north eastern Tennessee. When we went to turn onto the road to get to the property the road was closed and we were unable to stay. That being said, the owner was wonderful, and had excellent communication and transparency. If we were ever needing to stay in butler again, we’d book with them in a heartbeat!

Perfect little house for what I needed. Bed is super comfortable. Owner was very quick to respond. Cell phone service is non existant and the wifi was down due to the flooding but it was kind of nice without distractions to just relax. Complimentary wat

We had a wonderful getaway at the cottage. Skylar was great at communicating with us. We took advantage of the fire pit and grill. The bed was super comfortable and the place was clean. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. This is a great place to stay, especially if you love hiking, boating and kayaking. Beautiful scenery! We will be back!!

Was a good experience. I wanted something that felt less tourist like and this did the trick. I was able to find plenty of good spots nearby to explore.

Great little cottage for our stay after a wedding at Sugar Hollow Retreat!

I absolutely loved staying here, I came to visit a friend, and it was perfect. It is so cute and just the right size for me. The boating ramp is tight around the corner if that is something you are looking for or even a small little get away. Skylar the host was so amazing! He communicated great and was so accommodating. I had some trouble with the wifi and he personally came down to help get it back and running. The cbin has some bedroom with the most comfortable bed ever and has a pullout couch bed. I had two friends come over for game night and we all fit pretty comfortable. There is a grill and fire place. You can buy wood from Skylar for $7, which was so amazing! I had an amazing time, and would definitely stay again!
