Stayed Oct 13, 2025We were visiting Stockbridge just for a 2 day stay. It was a charming cottage off the beaten path that was inviting and comfortable. We wished that we could have spent more time there, because it had every convenience to meet all of our needs. It was close enough to downtown Stowe, but far enough to avoid any crowds. We loved our stay there.

Stayed Sep 19, 2025The carpenters cottage was very charming and very nice. It was close to the town of Stockbridge which made it easy to partake of all the town had to offer. It was clean and well kept. The neighborhood it was in was really nice. I would highly recommend the Carpenters Cottage to anyone staying in Stockbridge and the surrounding area.

Stayed Feb 27, 2025This property is amazing! The cottage makes wonderful use of the space and manages to feel cozy and spacious all at once. We loved curling up on the couch by the fire and reading, playing games on the big kitchen table and just generally getting away from everything. The surrounding towns were really fun to walk around and I can't wait to come back when all the amazing looking hiking opportunities are under less ice. The hosts were kind and communicative, and while nothing went wrong, I feel very certain if it had, they would have responded immediately.

Stayed Oct 11, 2024We had a very lovely stay at this light-filled cottage close to downtown Stockbridge. Elise & Mickey thought of everything, all the creature comforts, great coffee, fully equipped kitchen, easy to use light switches, Netflix & comfortable temperature. Loved high ceilings, all the light from the big windows, nice private deck. Would stay again.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024The cottage is charming. The location is nicely set back from the road and really very quiet considering the owner and family live on the property. We were grateful for a fast ride home after Tanglewood concerts since most traffic doesn't head in this direction. The cottage is well stocked. There is a bit of a path to carry luggage from parking area to door.
