Lidie's Place - A Secluded Forest Cottage

Our second time staying at this cottage and it could not be more comfortable and cozy. So convenient to have a fenced in yard for the dog and lots of amazing hiking close by. We enjoyed the hot tub, the grill, and the fire pit. Highly recommend.

This was our 3rd stay at Lidie's place. It is a nice clean cottage for a relaxing getaway that we can bring the dogs. The dogs love the fenced in back yard and running around the circle in the house. The hot tub was set at the perfect temperature.

The home was clean, comfortable and cozy! We have stayed numerous times and have never been disappointed. A great please to relax to unwind. Highly recommend.

The cottage was perfect for me and my mother. Extremely clean. Very comfortable beds. Beautifully decorated. It was in a great location. Close to ski resorts. Only about 30 mins to Jim Thorpe which was very convenient. We would definitely stay there again.

Will absolutely be coming back. Had such an amazing relaxing time, the home is clean, warm and inviting.

Always a great stay! We love this place. Fireplace was fantastic on the 14 degree days. Sitting in the hot tub with snow falling was amazing. Can’t wait to come back.

We loved our stay! The kitchen is fully stocked and was perfect for us to cook thanksgiving dinner. The backyard is completely closed and gated so it was safe for our dogs and toddler. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great place to enjoy the surrounding nature as well as relax in your rental

I picked to stay here because of all the positive feedbacks this property received. I would like to start off by saying that the cottage is beautiful and perfect for families. However, I do believe the cottage needs maintenance. For example I was told that the landscaper will be coming by to do the lawn while I was staying there. I requested to please have the landscaper coming another time not when my family and I were staying there due to privacy. However I was in disbelief that the owners would not be prepared with the lawn maintenance before their guests arrives . With that said, the grass was overgrown and unfortunately we couldn’t use the hot tub and grill because even the grill was filthy and it appeared that it hasn’t been clean for months. The shower curtain had red stains all over due to often use and bathroom also appeared dirty. Again beautiful cottage but it needs maintenance and cleaning.

A beautiful and quiet little cottage that is great for relaxing

My friends and I stayed here for our Pocono Spartan Race. The spa and backyard were lovely spots to hang out and relax. We made and enjoyed dinners in the kitchen and all slept well! Lidies Place is a cute place to stay for a relaxing weekend!

Cozy cottage with nice amenities: fire pit, hot tub, washer and dryer, plenty of towels, welcome bag. Hosts are very welcoming and give a tour of the cottage. Available for any questions via text. Enjoyed our stay!

Enjoyed our time, house is beautiful, yard was nice for the dog, welcomed with a bag of goodies and even some treats for the puppy. Only complaints was main room didnt have a/c and very warm. Also the beds were not the greatest, sunk in the middle. But other then that we enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

Lidia’s place was great. We enjoyed our stay. The area is very quiet and peaceful but convenient to parks and sightseeing.

My husband and I are returning guests. Liddie's place is simply wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub, a nice fire, very comfortable bedding and just the cutest cottage. I love this place, truly. It's so peaceful and comfortable, highly recommend. And the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

My girlfriend and I chose Lidie’s Place to spend the weekend in the Pocono’s and it was a great choice! The hosts are right next door if you need anything, but we didn’t see them or hear them at all during our stay aside from our tour of the property. The hot tub was nice a clean as well as the entirety of the property. We stopped at Da’s Pub for dinner and a drink one night and you should definitely try the wings! Moyer’s Country Kitchen is a great place for breakfast and you’ll have to try the German Pancakes. There are plenty of areas to explore locally and the cottage is on a quiet tree-lined road which was serene. We would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks for a great weekend!

The cabin was just what we needed, a nice place to relax. It was close to hiking trails and other attractions. The hot tub was great. We highly recommend this place to others.

We were looking for a relaxing getaway with our two dogs. So happy we came across Lidie's Place! It is exactly as advertised. Beautiful little cottage, very well-maintained and cozy yet still providing plenty of room for all. The owner met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour which was very nice. Although they live right next door we never heard or saw them again, but knew they were just a call or text away if needed. The home is perfectly decorated and instantly provides a warm and welcoming environment, The peace and quiet we enjoyed was priceless! We felt like we were away from the world, but stores, restaurants etc are only a few miles away. So happy we found Lidie's Place and we are already planning for a return visit when we can hopefully stay longer. Thank you Kerrick's for sharing this fantastic home.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house was clean and everything worked as should. The outdoor jacuzzi was a great plus. We brought our dog, who enjoyed the fenced in backyard.

Wonderful cozy space with an adorable rustic cabin feel. We loved the fire place, fenced backyard, and hot tub! You’re far enough in the woods to feel secluded, but still only minutes from Wawa, a grocery store, Dunkin, and various other shops. Our story will forever involve Lidies Place as we got engaged in the backyard! Can’t wait to go back.

I wanted a place where I could go with my husband and our 2 dogs for my birthday weekend with the requirements that it be within 2 hours of Philly, had to allow the dogs, and that it had a hot tub! This place checked all the boxes and I am so glad we chose it! It was perfect for what we were looking for. We spent most of the time just hanging out on the couch or in the hot tub. The dogs loved the fenced in backyard to run around and play in. The home is fully equipped to cook meals in the kitchen, we cooked all of ours there. The son met us when we checked in to give us the tour and lay of the land, the owners (his parents) live right next door, we never saw them the entire time we were there, though. It is totally private. Location is great, it's not far off the main road and close to shopping and stores but you still feel like you're remote and far away. We checked out some local retail stores, got a massage at a local place, and definitely recommend Holy Ghost Distillery and Da's Pub! We loved our stay and they even left some dog treats for our fur kids to enjoy! We will definitely stay again in the future!

Lidie's Place is as listed. It is a charming 2 bedroom cottage with a kitchen that has just about everything you could need. The gas fireplace in the living room is wonderful. The fenced in yard is also nice for privacy. The hot tub is an absolute must! It is so great, and the jets are amazing!

This house was awesome! It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We all loved it. The hot tub was really nice, we really enjoyed it, also enjoyed hanging out at the fire pit. Definitely give a 10 on this, will be back again.

Our second time here, and we brought the pup with us again. Love the hot tub and the fully fenced in yard. Also love how many great hiking trails are nearby. Great communication with the host, just like the last time. Thanks again!

From the time we arrived until we left one of the mostly relaxing getaway! First time renting Air B&B did not disappoint. Can’t wait to return for another getaway.
