Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Port Isaac is one of Cornwall's true gems. A lovely fishing community lying in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains intact from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. There are many small character properties, as well as larger cliff-top retreats, with easy access to the village's numerous restaurants and shops. As the tide recedes, the sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools. It's only ten minutes from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer, and Rock, making it ideal for both romantic and family vacations. At the top of the village, there is plenty of parking.

The Lamorna property was clean and very nice. It was very convenient to the village of Port Isaac. However, we were disappointed with several things. The internet password was wrong in the email communication that was sent. There was not a welcome packet of information visible with info needed ( we did find it later under a racing magazine, too late. )The correct password was in the booklet, sort of. I messaged about this when i arrived with no answer. The doors are extremely hard to lock and unlock. AND there was not a little service of coffee or tea bags, for guests as we are accustomed to in VRBO stays. Also, it was hot when we stayed and the windows had no screens to open for air. Fans would have been nice. These things would have turned our review from good into great. Thanks for the use of your property.

The cottage was very nice. The kitchen had what was needed. We were surprised that our bathroom had no soap for sink & no supplies for shower. The front porch & stairs shared the same color. A colored stripe on the stairs would help to not fall on going down. It was very easy to fall. There should have been a net for the ping pong table.
