Lakeside Treetop Cottage: Boat Dock & Hot Tub

This lake house was the perfect place for my family to stay for our nearby fishing tournament. While we fished, the girls shopped. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The host, Scott, was very accommodating as we requested to change our dates last minute due to the tournament being rescheduled due to weather. It’s hard to find places that accommodate two trucks and two boat trailers. This location had plenty of parking with the private lot next door.

We had a great stay at the lakehouse. The house was very well stocked and the kids enjoyed the extra game room area.

The host seemed welcoming. Our priorities are outside: patios, hot tub, hiking, games and cooking.

This house has been perfect for us. Very comfortable, host is helpful and honest.

We enjoyed the huge 2 level decks, view of cove, and total privacy. The well stocked kitchen and bath provided everything we needed!

Great place to celebrate my son’s 19th birthday with family and friends! Loved having the dock access so we could keep our boat in the water during our stay. Scott was very attentive host and addressed any questions or concerns that we had. Thank you Scott for making this a great weekend to get away with the kids before school starts back. Our first time to Lake Granbury and won’t be our last!

We had a great stay with our boys and their friends for my son’s birthday. Our only suggestions would be to have more stuff to do in the game room. The back board for the dart board was broken and half the darts were broke. There wasn’t really much for the kids to do in there. Also, several of the outdoor furniture/chairs were broken or nearly broken and unusable. Other than that the house was great! The kitchen was pretty well stocked woth cookware and whatever we needed to cook. All the beds were comfy! Lots of space indoors and outdoors. The dock was beautiful and where we spent most of our time. We will for sure re rent this house in the future!

This place is super fun and just what we needed. We wanted a place to hangout and fish. It did the job and the kids had a blast. We took advantage of the fire pit, hot tub and the dock. The host was very nice and responded quickly.

Nice property, great lake access. Only have a couple minor suggestions for owner. Wash clothes in the bathroom would be appreciated and 4:00 pm check in /10:00 am check out needs to be at least 3:00 pm/11:00 am. Would recommend this property.

I always look for unique experiences for our family, and this was a neat one! So many different levels of decks, a hot tub, a brand new dock, and you felt like you were nestled in the trees. Scott was very accommodating. I would recommend!

We enjoyed this location. Everything matched with the online listing. There are not additional towels provided for the hot tub, and that would have been nice to know ahead of time. We had 8 people in our party and were given 9 towels in the house, so we ended up doing laundry each day due to having to use the same towels for the hot tub. But the owner was fast to respond to questions and did offer to bring more towels, we just didnt want to mess with it. ) Would recommend.

Beautiful on the water location with a great deck and dock to enjoy the lake and view.

We loved this house! It was *almost* perfect. The only issue was that we could not access the boat slip and had to tie our boat to the cleats on the dock. Fortunately, the cove had very little wind and it was not a huge issue. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it!

It was nice to get away from my day to day just 1 hour away instead of having to drive to the hill country. It was really peaceful, relaxing. Spent 90% of my week outside enjoying every minute

Lake time

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Tree Top Cottage. It had everything you needed and more. We enjoyed the large hot tub and spending time on the newly remodeled boat deck. The master bed was beyond comfortable and the master bath is to die for! We loved how close the property was to local attractions like downtown, the beach part of the lake, and the brewery. I also really enjoyed the large decks to take in the view and enjoy a cup of coffee on in the morning. It was perfect for a couple's weekend getaway and we can't wait to come back with our boys!

Great stay. Clean property and excellent communication with host. Only issue was a part of the deck was sagging and I was concerned about kids hurting themselves.

Fantastic location, house amenities, and our kids loved having the lake in the backyard. Would definitely stay again.
