Lakeside Serenity Retreat

We had the absolute best time at the Lake House. The weather was perfect for a November stay and we were able to cookout and have a campfire in the evening. The house provided everything we needed! We will definitely be a repeat guest.

The property was very quiet. Clean rooms. Kitchen was stocked with everything. Cld use a new cheese slicer. Host answered any questions before hand quickly. We loved the deck with the gas fire pit.

We enjoyed the swing by the lake for relaxing and taking in the lake view. We sat on the oversized covered deck for dinners and reading time. We easily cooked in the kitchen and played many rousing games of Uno at the kitchen table. The property is well stocked and very clean.

This home was exactly as described! We had zero issues with anything and if we are ever in the area again we would stay here! Our host, Kim, was more than accomodating even when we needed the furnace looked at, it was fixed very quickly! The lake is gorgeous, the grounds and area around the house are beautiful and full of wildlife,

Lakeside retreat, very peaceful and perfect for a family getaway. It's too bad our plans changed and we didn't get to enjoy this home as much as we wanted to, but the time we were there was really nice. Kim always responded quickly. Given the opportunity, I'd love to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful relaxing lakefront house. Fishing from the hugh dock was a real pleasure. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. We would stay again if coming to visit KY.

This property was a perfect spot for our family. The cottage thoughtfully provided all we needed and was so comfortable! The deck was a great place to hang out and enjoy a view of the lake. And there were so many things to explore and do in the area - we hiked, swam, toured a log cabin, ate great food, hit some museums, and even saw a demolition derby! Many wonderful memories made!

My husband and I rented the lakeside home to enjoy for the week with my two sisters. The home was everything we needed it to be. The kitchen was very well stocked for the cooking we did. It was a hot week but we were able to stay cool in the home and while fishing on the dock we were thankful there was a roof to block us from the sun.

I, along with my husband, son and his family thoroughly enjoyed this home!! Kim was GREAT to work with. The home was clean, perfectly situated for what we were doing. We absolutely LOVED it!!

Check in process was easy and the home was clean and as described. Lovely waterside views and peaceful neighborhood. Family visit to the Ark Encounter was simplified with being only 15 min drive down the road. Roads are very narrow and winding through the countryside. Helped check off my fathers “bucket list” item of seeing the Ark. family loved lounging on the swing, deck or living room. Thank you for sharing your place!

It was an adorable lake house. Very accommodating and supplied with everything you need on a vacation. Great view and location. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family.

This was our first trip to see the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. We were in a great location to get to both places very easily. The house was very clean and comfortable and the lake was beautiful. Sitting on the deck looking over the lake was just what we needed! Thank you!

We planned a trip to the Ark Encounter and this place is just minutes away. It is located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. We so enjoyed sitting on the covered back porch and enjoying the lake view.

The unloading process is difficult but well worth the effort.. Great place, clean, comfortable and the deck and its view is magnificent. Close to the Ark Encounter and the Creation museum. We had a great week and memories for a lifetime. Jim

We came from NC. The lake house was beautiful. Next time we will bring fishing pole. Will recommend to anyone to stay. We visited the Ark and Creation Museum.

Went to Ark Encounter and had a perfect place to relax. What a beautiful lake front home.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake house. You can enjoy the beautiful lake views from several different places. We ate all our meals on the beautiful, covered porch and spent a lot of time on the 2-level dock. We enjoyed the swing on the lower level of the dock, especially in the evenings. The house was clean and spacious and interaction with the owner was quick and easy. We would definitely recommend this house for a great lake getaway.

Three generations stayed here and throughly enjoyed it. The large covered deck is wonderful just for relaxing to look out at the lake. All amenities were as described!! The only issue we had was the slope coming down the drive way was a bit challenging for my huband in the wheelchair. But we conquered it. Ok, one more BIG issue... our stay was way too short to enjoy it more. We would come again for a longer stay and rent a boat!!!

Everything was great. As easy as it could be when away from home. We visited the ark and saw a Reds game, and location was great.

Clean, updated home. Comfortable beds, wonderful, picturesque view of the lake. Very easy check in and straightforward house rules.
