Lakefront Lexington Escape: Steps to Beach!

We did not have any issues making the reservation to checkout. House was very clean upon arrival. Beautiful views of Lake Huron. Saw multiple freighters during our stay. Easy access to the lake using stairs at multiple public access parks within the neighborhood. Two were located within 100 feet of the houseWe enjoyed time on the deck both in the morning to see the sunrise as well as in the evening where we caught glimpse of a shooting star.

Great place to stay. The view is spectacular.

Beautiful home and wonderful view! No complaints, really. We would have appreciated a king bed and hot tub. We gave those things up in order to have the gorgeous view.

Location was perfect. Views were stunning. Kitchen was well stocked for eating at home. Everything was so clean. Really great experience. Hope to come back in the future!

Fire pit was great. We we got to see the super moon, there was also a double rainbow. We sat outside with the wind and cold and it was just great.

We really enjoyed our time at the cottage and wish our time was longer. We loved how quiet the neighborhood was but still close to a lot of things to do. We had a lot of fun down at the nearby beach as well. We hope to visit again!

We had a great time and this was the perfect spot for a week of relaxation! Our adult boys shared the upstairs loft and our dog (Nelson) settled in nicely, especially the dock overlooking the beautiful sunset views over Lake Huron! Close to Lexington and other quaint small towns with lots of great eateries including the Pepperoni Cow (pizza and shakes), Daybreak Cafe (breakfast), Lakeshore Smokehouse (BBQ), The Cadillac (dinner) and more! We took a day trip to the Detroit Zoo & PortHuron for the Raven Cafe & the Thomas Edison Museum.

This house is great and was as advertised. It is clean and well equipped. The lake view is beautiful and the sound of the waves is very relaxing. The neighborhood is charming and the folks are friendly. The only ding on the location is the beaches to which the house has access are not great for kids and swimming since they are much rockier than the public beach in Lexington.

We absolutely loved the location of this house! There were several beautiful beaches within walking distance, which made it perfect for our group. The back patio had a stunning view. I looked forward to starting each morning there with a cup of coffee. The house was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. We had a group of 7 and fit with ease. The upstairs loft was ideal for me, my husband, and our two boys. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

It is a lovely home located right on the water in a sweet neighborhood.

The cottage served its purpose for our long weekend events. 6 adults, 2 kids, and a baby had lots of space. We weren’t really there to use the beach the entire time because of wedding events, but we were expecting more personal access to the beach based what was described in the listing. The stairs going down from this property are unusable and blocked off due to safety reasons so we had to walk over to the public access which wasn’t far at all. The view was beautiful from the deck but was mostly blocked by a big tree. Overall good stay. Clean, updated interior, nice seating on the deck, stocked with necessities, and good communication with the host (we needed the code to the laundry room to wash some baby items and she responded quickly!). Also, make sure if you don’t get the late checkout to expect the cleaning crew at 10am on the dot! So be out early or do the extended checkout time. I wouldn’t stay here again for this price due to no direct beach access and the tree blocking the view. Beds and pillows were decent but we could have used extra blankets.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect. Multiple beautiful beaches were just a quick 2-minute walk from the house, making it super convenient for beach days. The house was spotless and the host was responsive throughout our stay. We also loved exploring the charming downtown area about 10 minutes away, with great shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this rental for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Amazing view of the Lake, very clean. Well stocked. Bluetooth speaker and chairs were a nice touch as I had forgotten ours.

Beautiful home. Big deck. Loved views of the lake. Three small parks with lake access to the lake a short walk away. There was plenty of sleeping space. Very nice kitchen. Could have used more towels.

Great location and beautiful cottage

We absolutely loved this house. It's very clean and well appointed. The location was beautiful. I could stand and look out those windows all day or in better weather spend the day on the deck.

Overall a very nice property with beautiful views. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Our only criticism is with the accessibility . Because of a recent injury, we chose this property. There are no grab bars in the bathroom which wss difficult and disappointing.

This house was a good location for our visit to Lexington. The house is clean and has the essentials.

Stay was a good experience overall. We loved the property. Check in was a little bumpy but the property manager had it resolved immediately. They did answer on the first call. Would stay again

property was beautiful, stay was great. we were furst time renters and will rent again at this location if in the area again and this experience will encourage us to rent other places in the future. only minor concerns were the lack of toilet paper holders, the balcony door wouldn't latch, and the address was hard to see when we showed up.

Absolutely beautiful home on Lake Huron. We enjoyed traveling to lighthouses but spent most of our time at the house gazing at the water. Also enjoyed the fire pit for the cool windy evenings. It was the relaxing time we needed. We will return to Michigan.

Loved every minute of this lovely lake house, from the views to the house to the park just down the street. My family and i frequent this area and we all loved this place!

Five lifelong friends had a blast in this adorable house….all had comfy beds, nicely stocked kitchen, close to Lexington for shopping, bars, good restaurants and more! The beaches r just a stones throw away although the waves were to big to swim! We enjoyed the patio with comfy furniture and gas fireplace in the evening

This is definitely a beautiful place to stay with plenty of privacy, yet just a short drive to downtown for restaurants and shops. Parking would be tight, but as we came in one car, it was fine. The only thing I would wish for would be better beach access, as the stairway was overgrown and unacceptable.

Picture perfect stay on Lake Huron. Huge deck with multiple seating overlooking lake. Great to sleep listening to waves. Beaches as described 50-100 ft away. Nice friendly neighborhood, very clean and quiet. House well stocked and immaculate. Just over an hour from Detroit area. Close to Lexington. TV/wifi worked well. Mostly sat on deck relaxing , reading, watching boats. Phots very accurate. Great communication with management.

The cottage was amazing, sitting right on the lake. The place was clean, and the deck was great for looking out over the lake. Access to two public beaches were just one house away on each side. Beds were comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Great time
