Stayed Sep 5, 2025The property is lovely, although dated quite charming. We were given the wrong key code to enter. However, the garage door was left unlocked as was the entry into the home. We were able to contact the representative for the correct code after that everything went smoothly.

Stayed Sep 8, 2025We stayed here with extended family for a 4 day reunion. The house has a great yard, and boat dock! The water is perfect as it stays shallow (2ft) for a ways out from the shore and was perfect for the kids to play and kayak. We rented the house next door also and loved the combined yard and extra space between the houses. The house was older and smelled musty. We were able to open the windows because the temperature was so nice and it aired out very nicely though and was comfortable to stay in. The cleaners did a good job and the house was clean, although a little older and musty. We would stay here again if we needed both houses next to each other for a family reunion again.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025The breeze from the lake was wonderful. We enjoyed family time on the lake but be careful if you have small children, 2 of our 5 got bad cases of swimmer’s itch. If you know ahead of time you can take precautions to avoid the problem. Home is dated and could use some updates.

Stayed Jun 7, 2025Waterfront location was excellent and kid freindly. Plenty of space indoors for 5 adults and 4 little kids. Beautiful view of the lake.Mothball smell throught main level.Basement shower did not work at all.We were given the wrong keycode on the email from Vacasà and were not able to get in when we arrived. Had to call for help. Ouside maintenence was not great. When we arrived we swept the driveway near the house and deck so we wouldnt track a very large amount of seeds from trees into the house. Back deck was the same. Maybe someone could have used a leaf blower to clean it up before we arrived.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This cottage sits right on Little Glen Lake, with an amazingly large, shaded yard and a great dock on the water. From the dock you can see the sand dunes and it is a beautiful sight. The road is relatively quiet, with the exception of early mornings when boaters are putting their boats in the water at the public dock nearby. I did not realize there is no A/C (my mistake). We visited in early July and did fine as the home has an abundance of shade, but when it gets hotter/muggy I wouldn't like it. The upstairs bedrooms do not have full window coverings; sleep masks were left which was a nice gesture. This is an older cottage and had a strong smell of moth balls when we first entered (as all the windows were closed). However, it aired out once we opened the windows. There is an abundance of space; a living area on the main and lower level. We enjoyed putting together a 1000 piece puzzle throughout the week that is on-site. Little Glen is a beautiful lake for kayaking and paddle boarding which we did. The kitchen is adequately supplied and includes both drip and K-cup coffee makers. We had 5 people and never had an issue with water pressure or hot water. As mentioned in another review the 3rd full bath is downstairs and is older and small, but useable.
