We rented this cabin on Pickerel Lake for a ladies getaway weekend. We were blown away by how spacious the house is, photos truly do not do it justice. There were 8 of us and everyone had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and the kitchens and bathrooms were stocked with anything you could possibly need. There was a paddle board and kayak on site, a firepit stocked with firewood, plenty of outdoor seating. The lake is very clear and has a sandy bottom, we had fun wading and playing on the paddleboard. The hot tub is nice and clean. Tons of games on site and the downstairs bedroom had a huge selection of DVDs. The living room has a smart TV so we logged into our streaming services to have a movie night. We saw a lot of wildlife including baby bunnies hopping around the yard. The party store is a 10 second drive down the road and had fabulous pizza, wings, and breadsticks. Only 20 minutes drive into downtown Petoskey. We can't wait to return to this cabin. Thank you!

Very nice cabin in a great location. Had some fairly large cobwebs in various spots around the house and we were killing spiders all weekend but no big deal. Had a great time!

This property was everything we needed. We had 8 adults and 3 children under 2 with us. The house was plenty big enough for our needs and has a well stocked kitchen. The living area furniture is well loved and could use some updating. The host, Jeremy, was great! Answered our questions very quickly. I would stay here again.

This house is the best location in the area. This was our second time staying at the house, and we will likely stay there again next year! We love the location on the lake and the privacy of the lot. It also has just the right amount of space for our group. I think the owner needs to reevaluate their cleaning people. The bathrooms were not clean at all (the downstairs shower was very, very moldy... Likely not getting cleaned at all), and the hot tub was very cloudy. The owner was very responsive about the hot tub and sent someone to fix it-- but that person was very grumpy... but it did get fixed! Also, there were groceries left in the fridge and a bunch of shopping bags in several kitchen cabinets. This place needs a big, serious, deep clean... But we also are very likely to stay there again due to location, size and privacy!

We loved everything about this property. The view is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and get up for the sunrise, it’s spectacular! You’ll find the layout of the home perfect for entertaining while getting the lake view all evening. Beds are comfortable and there’s privacy between the upstairs bedrooms and downstairs bedrooms. The owner is easy to get ahold of and will be responsive to any needs. Lastly, the fishing is outstanding! You have easy access to Crooked Lake and the trip through the channel is breathtaking. Love it all!

We enjoyed the direct lake access during the day and the the fire pit, in the evenings. We went to the bay looking for Petoskey stones several times. The house was not very clean.it is an older home and there were many spiders and we had mice to deal with. We were successful and caught three of them.

We had a good time even though it rained half of the time we were there. Family really enjoyed the hot tub. The house was nice with lots of space.

This place has so much charm and character. I loved it! We really enjoyed the homie vibes it brought. I appreciated all the amenities the host had available to us to utilize for our stay. Our kids had the best time, and we all enjoyed the property.

Great house. Perfect location on the lake. Will stay there again.
