About 25 minutes to Bangor International Airport.

You'll want a car to explore any surrounding areas, but you also would have all you need to enjoy a week right at the house. This area of Maine does not have consistent rideshare service. If you need help with coordinating transportation, let me know ahead of time.

Eddie was an excellent host with great communication from the time of booking through the time we checked out. Since I moved an hour away from my family, I decided to book this property so we could meet in the middle for Thanksgiving dinner. Not know exactly what would be available in terms of pots and pans, etc.I practically packed up my entire kitchen, but there was absolutely nothing that I needed. The cottage was well-equiped, as well as clean and cozy with a beautiful view of the pond.

Eddie was a great host and very responsive to any messages or questions we had. The property is beautiful and wish we could have enjoyed more of the outdoor things at the cabin but weather played a factor there, but definitely had a blast exploring the surrounding towns and Acadia. Great central location to many great restaurants and breweries within 15-20 minutes. The cabin was clean and well stocked, nice added personal touches and loved the jetted tub to relax at the end of the day. Beds comfortable and we rested well. Loved the fans that were available in the rooms for some white noise. There are multiple entrances so if you do have trouble with stairs you can get to lower level…but dining is on the main floor and will require stairs or you to walk outside. The water pressure was great and no issues to report. Thanks for sharing the property with us and for your hospitality. Property was listed well and photos weee accurate. Book it, Maine is beautiful, Eddie is a great host and the property has all you need to relax.

We came for our honeymoon for only a few days. The location of the property was really convenient, especially because we went to Acadia several times. The property did have cobb webs in the ceiling.

My grad school buddies and I had a great time relaxing in between hikes at Acadia! Such a cozy place that made us all smile when we walked in! They even had toys, water bowls, and a dog bed for my pup! Very homey, would definitely recommend!

Had an absolutely amazing time. This property is very secluded and the only noise (apart from nature) comes from the occasional cars that drive down the road. Very relaxing for anyone that wants a quiet getaway.

We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the property. The location was nice for a lot of excursions and being on the lake with the fire pit was beautiful! The kitchen had everything we could need (slow cooker, brownie pan, toaster, etc). And came equipped with a nice stash of board games. Tina, the property manager went above and beyond - so quick to respond and very helpful. We loved that our dogs could stay with us and will cherish our memories made here. Would highly recommend this spot!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property on the lake. The property had a nice firepit where we enjoyed smores and the evening stars. We also enjoyed using the kayak and canoe for a paddle around the lake. I only wish the property was set back off the road a bit due to noise from nearby traffic. Otherwise it is a beautiful spot.

The location was amazing, trees and flowers and plants. It was cool and quiet and incredibly peaceful. The house was modern and carefully decorated, with everything we needed. The host quickly responded to questions with tips and suggestions for the area- food, things to do, wildlife to look for, places to go. We had a wonderful time and would rent it again.

We brought our pup with us on this family trip to Acadia. We enjoy being out of the hustle and bustle of areas and this place provided that. Some of the photos and set ups should be updated, the bottom floor has the most beds and it also has a walk out to the backyard. Our kids loved that! While I wished that this was a little further back from the road, this definitely was the right place in terms of space and amenities for our family. My fiancé worked on the wrap around porch while my children and I ventured off to downtown Bucksport as well as met some really lovely locals. Acadia is an hour away, which was perfect for as and entire property was definitely large enough to have our pup enjoy swimming in the water as well as let us enjoy canoeing and fishing off of the dock in the back. This allowed us to enjoy visiting Bar Harbor as well as Acadia for the day with our little ones and our pup and come back to quiet and enjoy the sit in spa tub with my little ones. There are 3 levels which allowed us to also have space from our little ones while they had plenty of room to explore and play on the basement level. There were toy boxes on the basement level and main level my children called treasure boxes and plenty of board games and activities that kept us busy. The kitchen is a dream. The communication was amazing, I never went without a response or unanswered question. We would absolutely come here again and hope to on our next visit to Acadia!!
