Perfect location with privacy and a spectacular lake view!
Beautiful property. The cottage is small but very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay.
Perfect spot for a quiet getaway. Cozy, clean and quiet. Close to great dining and pubs in both Rhinebeck and Tivoli.
This property is wonderful. Don't think we've ever stayed in such a nice little cottage where everything went so smoothly, to be honest! There are clear instructions for everything and the area and building are gorgeous. The owners make themselves available for questions, but the material they provide in the pre-visit PDF and binder at the property covers almost everything. The area is lovely and private, but not too far from grocery stores and other conveniences. It was a truly rejuvenating little mini-vacation.
The weekend getaway was wonderful and the home came fully stocked which was much appreciated!! It was quiet and quaint and the Jacuzzi was a plus. I look forward to returning again some day. JD
Very quiet
Excellent cabin on the lake with beautiful views from the screened-in porch. It’s an easy trip to town, and the drive is gorgeous.
We had a great time with friends; unfortunately it was a little too cold to get out on the lake with the kayaks provided but it's a lovely spot and cute cottage.
We had another wonderful experience for our second time at The Painted Turtle. So peaceful and relaxing. Everything that we needed was here, even the complimentary bottle of wine which we greatly appreciated. Ellen was so accommodating and flexible with our changing dates. We will be back, hopefully in the summer to see more of the greenery and warmer temperatures. Thanks so much!
