Lake Front Cottage with Amazing Firepit, Private Dock, Sleeps 6

What a wonderful location and spectacular lodging accommodations. The home was immaculate with lots of comfortable places to sit and relax. Beautiful view of the lake. Wonderful outdoor firepit area. The host was very responsive and so nice. Even helped me retrieve a bag I accidently left behind. The kitchen had everything necessary to make a meal and there was a great coffee bar. Definitely recommend, and would stay there again.

This was a beautiful property that had everything we needed. The house was very clean and had any type of supply we possibly needed. The outside was fantastic and we really enjoyed the fire pit on the edge of the lake. The host was very accommodating and had excellent communication throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this rental!

Charming Lakeside Cottage with Thoughtful Touches!We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming Little Wissota Lake cottage! The home is incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully appointed, with so many special touches from the host that made us feel truly pampered. From the candy and snacks to the specialty coffee machine (complete with a frother for lattes!) and s’mores by the fire pit, every detail was considered.The outdoor spaces are gorgeous — the deck and patio right by the water are picturesque and offer plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the view. The kitchen is fully equipped with every appliance, pan, and utensil you could possibly need. The dock was in excellent condition and easily accommodated our 26’ open bow boat. While we couldn’t cross over to the main lake due to low bridge clearance, we still had a blast exploring Little Wissota and stopping at local bars and restaurants.This cottage is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and thoughtful amenities — we can’t recommend it enough!

Completely furnished Lake cottage with amazing views and entertainment area. Our family loved the easy check in process and were thrilled the amazing outdoor patio area. We loved the morning coffee station, the finely appointed living area and all the homey touches. What a wonderful place!

This place was such a gem. The decor was beautiful and cozy, and the kitchen had everything we could’ve needed, and then some. We were honestly sad we only stayed two nights because it was just that good.The complimentary smores kit, coffee, tea, and snacks were such a thoughtful touch, and the outdoor smoker completely won us over. We used it both nights and are now seriously considering getting one for our own home.There was so much to do, both inside and out, and it made relaxing and spending time together so easy. And on top of all that, the host was amazing, super friendly and incredibly responsive with every question we had.

Cabin is lovely and the property is delightful.The description does not mention that a train track is very close to the house and the noise is very loud. It wakes you up at night.

We had a fantastic stay. Paige and Robert are wonderful hosts! Lots of special treats for us. The home is darling, the view from the house and deck are incredible and the fire pit on the water was perfect!! Thank you!

Had a great weekend at this property. Beautiful house and lake. Great front yard for playing catch with the football. Great fire pit as well. Owner was very friendly/helpful and made solid recommendations for where to eat, etc. Would rent this property again in a heartbeat. Good times!

Great place!

We wanted a comfortable lake house in a convenient location to everything. We got more than we bargained for with this amazing place. The hosts made it very clear from the start that they wanted us to enjoy our time without worry and they followed through all the way to our final day. Exceptional Service. The home had all the convenience of a 5-star hotel and it was one of the most relaxing places I’ve stayed. Property views and deck spaces and fire pit had us enjoying a fall weekend the way it was meant to be. Inside the home all of the important details were covered from the high quality bedding and linens to the coffee bar. We loved it! Highly recommend this home and fantastic host!

We really enjoyed our three week stay in this lovely lakeside cottage! The beautiful views and the outdoor living areas are top-notch. We were celebrating our anniversary and visiting family and friends in the area. Morning views of the lake are magical, as the sunshine glistens on the water….even misty mornings are beautiful. We were able to rent a pontoon boat several times from the friendly Wissota Lodge for lake cruises. We also enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards that are provided. The central location is convenient to groceries, shopping and restaurants. We had fresh cheese curds from the Yellowstone dairy..nearby. We visited the Marieke dairy and cheese store ( Thorp) and apple orchards in the surrounding countryside. For dining, we liked the nearby High Shores supper club with their fabulous fish fry, Wissota lodge pub food, and takeout wraps and salads from the Sandbar Grill. The host service (Paige) was great…thoughtful and responsive. The neighbors are so friendly and kind! We really enjoyed the natural beauty and genuine people with friendly Midwest hospitality. We will definitely plan to visit every year!

Place was amazing!! Great location, easy drive to everything. Place had everything you would need. Neighbor was so kind and helpful. Loved the stay. Will be back again.

This cottage is so very peaceful. I instantly felt “at home” when walking in. Even my 5yr old said he wanted to live there forever. Just enough room, we never felt cramped (2 adults; two teenagers 16&17; a 5yr old and a baby). The house is well stocked with supplies/things you may have forgotten (we did lol). The host, Paige, is wonderful and helpful. Will stay here again for sure.

This property is beautiful and exactly as advertised. The lake access was perfect for floating right off the dock, and we took the kayaks out for a spin. The porch and firepit were perfect for relaxing. I also loved the location that was close to so many amenities.

Great stay in Chippewa Falls. The location of the property is ideal for lake activities and to quickly get into town. Close to restaurants and a grocery and liquor store. The outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the lake views.

We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor living spaces and the lake frontage. We also had a boat and were able to explore the lake! The cottage was beautiful inside and out, and I would recommend to others! The location was also great 😊

The experience for our group of Thorp alumni was amazing. The place had plenty of space for us, with multiple areas to hang out. Clean, cozy and the lake was beautiful. Used the paddleboards and had a campfire at night. The deck was spacious with an electric fireplace. A few in my group said it was the best place they ever stayed! I would return. Thank you Paige for being so helpful and reaching out to me for advice on places to see and being so attentive.
