Lake Erie Beachfront Cottage Near Geneva State Park Lodge

The home is clean, nice king size bed, trundle in small bedroom.and pull out love seat suitable for 1 adult or 2 small children. It would not be suitable for 2 adults. Adequate bedding and linen provided. Deck / patio is the best thing about this property! The view is wonderful and shaded by a big oak tree. Had a wonderful time. Close to Geneva strip. Home is stocked with essentials for cooking / clean up. Hand held shower could have better pressure , and slight inconvenience that the propertty has a private entrance blocked by a chain that has to be closed at all times. 1 parking spot in front of home and more parking close by.

This cottage suited our needs quite well. It was centrally located to the area we explored (Fairport Harbor, Geneva winery region, and Ashtabula). The deck on the back gave a great view of Lake Erie with wonderful sunsets! We enjoyed the firepit to add to the evenings. The cottage was clean and neat. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. Overall it was a great experience and we would recommend renting here.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is decorated in a beautiful nautical theme. The view from the gorgeous deck was fantastic. Really enjoyed hearing the waves. The sunsets are fantastic. The cottage is close to beaches, restaurants and the strip. We highly recommend anyone to stay there.

This cottage is the perfect getaway spot for a relaxing girls weekend away. It was clean and the pictures accurately reflect the rooms. The only area that could be improved is the mattress for the twin bed. Perfect for kids but not as supportive nor soft as a 50 year old lady would prefer. The grill grates could definitely use a cleaning. We just decided not to grill. Instead we got pizza from Alessandro’s. This place was a recommendation from the host and spot on. We had dinner there Thursday night after arrival and saw other diners pizza. The deck and the views made the whole trip. Pictures of the sunset do not do it justice. We are already planning a return trip for next summer. Or maybe even sooner!!

Beautiful, clean cottage with breathtaking views. Vera was very responsive to any questions we had & gave us many suggestions for things to do & places to eat. Definitely would rent again!!

We had a great stay! Very relaxing, beautiful deck and view of Lake Erie. We went to several area wineries and to the shopping district in Ashtabula. Highly recommend!

Having my coffee on the deck in the morning looking out over the Lake was the perfect beginning of a Blessed day. House was spotless and had everything you need! Everything was perfect!! Correspondence with owner was answered immediately! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful lakefront view with fire pit. Nice deck with furniture. Living room facing the lake with fireplace. It was the perfect place to stay with friends and enjoy the near by wineries and beaches.

We love this little cottage with its spectacular views and sunsets! The owner and property manager are vat tent I’ve and enjoyable to work with. It’s clean, condo and close to so many good wineries and restaurants. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful Location with spectacular view of the water and sunsets. AC was refreshing as the temps were in the 90's. Beds were very comfortable. House and property is well maintained and kitchen had every thing we needed. The deck was large with seating for 8. Connie, was available at all times for questions or problems. She was so kind and helpful.

This cottage brings it all , you get comfy surroundings and the greatest view you can imagine. The sound of waves coming in, the beautiful birds and playful squirrels in the big tree. It was like a full entertainment of nature happening around you. Relaxation is what to take away when you return home. It was quiet, comfortable, and relaxing with a beautiful view of the lake. Super convenient to the main strip, lodge, and surrounding activities.

Exactly as expected, we loved the setting, clean and everything we needed was supplied.We do hope to stay here again.

My two friends and I had a great stay at the Lake Erie cottage for a two night girl's getaway. The location was quiet and we loved the views of the lake from the deck.

The house is in a grassy area with a few other houses. The instructions to find it were ambiguous, saying once we got through the chain we had to drive over the grass to get to the house. We got there after dark which was our mistake. We had a street number but none of the houses had a visible street number. So we drove to several houses on the grass as there are no roads. We tried to call, but no answer. If the instructions had simply said “first house on the left after you get past the chain”, or a sketch, or a few traffic cones as barriers, the problem would have been avoided. Finally we found the house as a neighbor came over yelling that we drove over his grass. He said we ruined it and he’d called the police and we’ll pay for (although there was no evidence that we had done any damage). So the police showed up and the manager (Connie). The policeman said the guy wanted our insurance information, which we refused to give. The next day Connie, my wife and I met the elderly man. He was obviously confused, mixing us up with someone who had run into his retaining wall 3 weeks ago. I believe he wanted to soak us for his retaining wall, which we had nothing to do with us.Then he said “you’re lucky the police came, or I would have come after you with a shotgun“.The owner dismissed the incident as “he’s just a harmless 90 year old man, I don’t want problems with my neighors We were afraid. She told us to get out & cancelled our stay. The manager, Connie, though was supportive,

This comfortable cottage sits atop a hill overlooking Lake Erie. We enjoyed absolutely beautiful sunsets, bald eagles flying by and the sounds of the waves while relaxing on the large deck. It was perfect place to unwind with many great wineries and restaurants close by. The property manager was accessible, friendly and very helpful. We look forward to coming back!
