Stayed Aug 23, 2025The apartment has a perfect location for visiting the Golden circle. Everything you need is in Selfloss, a town 15min away by car. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful nature. Perfect for a longer stay.

Stayed Jul 27, 2025Perfect location on Golden Circle. This cabin provides a relaxing getaway from the city. Super quiet, except for the interesting bird sounds! My husband and 6 year old stayed here - very comfortable bed / sofa and terrific amenities for a 6 night stay. Kerid Crater is within walking distance (tip: try the soup truck!).We highly recommend this cabin and host!

Stayed Jul 15, 2025Kerengi Cottage is a beautiful very modern tiny home. Beautifully constructed, and everything to make your stay smooth and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful - he built the cottage [and the main house himself]. We stayed 5 nights - family of 3. Cooked in the house for most of our meals, and slept peacefully in the quiet countryside location. There are excellent blinds to keep the cottage dark in the limited summer night, and a beautiful deck on which to enjoy a morning coffee. There is the benefit of a washer and drier in the suite too. The location is very central to the Golden Circle.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025This one-room cottage had everything that we needed for our short stay, and the hosts were quick to respond to messages. It's a great location just outside of Selfoss with a wonderful view. We did wish that the curtains were a little darker for blocking out that midnight sun, but we were able to block them out ourselves with some aluminum foil.

Stayed Jun 4, 2025Brand new cabin (configured like a studio apartment) with comfortable king bed, washer/dryer and full refrigerator. Perfect location for day trips on the Golden Circle and along the coast to Vik and beyond. Literally a 10-min walk from the Kerid Crater. Strong WiFi was a nice plus.
