Keepers Cottage is one of four cottages in the original Stables at Roserrow.

For clean house there were a lot of spiders and spider webs. note - The upstair toilet handle needed attention upon our arrival. Disappointed that the snooker table ( a key selling point) only had only one working snooker cue (there were no cue tips on other cues and there was a missing ball). Would be nice to have mixer taps in the sinks and property interior needs updating to be competitive with other properties on site. The downstairs shower door had some issue which meant it was not able to be opened from inside when closed. I found general sitting areas and beds to very comfortable and outdoor terrace is very good. However, I would have expected higher quality kitchen appliances (the kettle and toaster look like the cheapest items one could every buy and didn't convey trust in their electrical reliability). Property needs investment, and regular attention, and i'm afraid we will elect to stay at other properties going forward.

Bedrooms were not clean, weeks of dust and cobwebs on skirting boards, bedside cabinets, doors etc. Moths in the upstairs bedroom wardrobe (along with mop & bucket) so didn’t put our clothes in there! The smell of damp hits you when you walk in which is very unpleasant in the downstairs bedrooms damp on the lampshade and main light not working. Didn’t use the games room as the musty damp smell was overwhelming. Carpet throughout needs replacing and bathrooms need updating. On a positive note - the kitchen had obviously been renovated and was clean and fresh. Unfortunately we will not be staying here again.

Booked last minute, no huge expectation but was absolutely fab. External phots don’t do property or location justice.

Very clean and comfortable, shame about the garden. A nice decking area by the french windows and although we knew it wasn't suitable for toddlers, in our opinion, not suitable for young children either and quite precarious getting to the washing line!

We were delighted with our stay at Keepers Cottage. Upon our arrival we had fun exploring the rooms downstairs and had forgotten it had a games room with a pool table, which kept our 3 children well entertained. All bedrooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. Kitchen is very big and has all the utensils/facilities you need to cook in. Nice patio at the rear which gets sun all day. We ate out when we could. Small charcoal BBQ also available. Lounge area very confortable with plenty seating space to watch TV or some of the wide range of DVDs available. WIFI excellent. Very happy, would love to return next year.
