Jubilee Creekside Cottage – Enjoy the Creek, Hot Tub and Outdoor Fire Pit

There was issue with the hot tub heating but they took care of me and I know it’s getting resolved so I would come back

The cottage was very cozy and decorated for Christmas. It wasn’t far from Helen. We enjoyed the waterfalls in the area, wish we had more time. I’m sure we will be back.

The place was clean. It had everything we needed. So close to Helen. Loved the location. Made smores on the firepit. Great hot tub. If ever back in Helen I would stay with you. Thank you so much. You are a wonderful host.

The furniture was comfortable, the location was easy to access, and we were grateful for the internet and Roku access, especially for keeping the baby entertained.That said, I did want to share a few pieces of feedback regarding the listing and our experience. While the cabin was generally cozy, we were a bit disappointed that it didn’t fully match the online description. We specifically booked this property because of the “creekside” listing, but unfortunately, the creek isn’t visible from the cabin, which was a letdown—especially for the two elderly guests we brought who had hoped to enjoy that view from the comfort of the house.The photos also gave the impression of a brighter, more airy space, while we found the interior to be quite dark, and there was some mildew visible on the walls upstairs. Additionally, you may want to have someone look at the dishwasher—it made a loud noise while running, almost like a generator.One final note: the trash situation was a bit challenging. With a baby and elderly guests, we had some waste that needed to be thrown away more frequently. Since there’s only one indoor bin and we weren’t able to leave bags outside due to animals, having to wait until we had two full bags (or drive 15 minutes to dispose of them) wasn’t very practical. Lockable outdoor bins could help with thatt

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the Jubilee Creekside Cottage for a few days and invited our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids to join us. This place was such a great match for our desires. We loved the privacy and seclusion and yet easy access to Helen and Unicoi State Park. We enjoyed the outdoor and indoor spaces especially the creek, swings, and mountain views.The property description was accurate, the amenities were good and the photos authentically matched the beauty of the place. The preperty was clean and well-maintained. The inside was spotless and decorated so nicely. My only suggestion was that it seemed time to have the house, gutters and some sidewalks pressure washed again.The management provided good customer service and returned our calls promptly. I have already recommended this property to friends and would love to come back in the summer to hang out and enjoy the beauty.We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, playing games provided and exploring the outdoor spaces. We visted Unicoi State Park which is beautiful. We spent time in the shops in Helen and enjoyed eating at Cafe International and snacking on the pastries from Hofer's Cafe and Pastry shop.We spent time brousing in Wonderland Antiques and Curiosities. (The owner and employees were very kind.) The grandkids really enjoyed the fudge at one of the candy shops on main street.We greatly enjoyed our stay and would like to return in the summer if we are able.I think Jubilee Creekside Cottage is quite a find and was a true blessing to our family.
