Greenwood, Virginia
If you like to stay in a private , isolated, yet with good view you will like my place . There is a one track rail road above the house but don’t run many times that make you feel annoying. The gravel driveway is quite steep at the top of hill but you won’t stuck and I’m working on brick pave even though take time to finish by myself. 22 minutes to Charlottesville. Just few miles to vineyards, breweries, Shenandoah national Park, crozet.
The property was as described and perfect for a one night stay. Kalsang was very responsive to any question!
Great place
Great property with plenty of things to do in the area.
The property was perfect for our needs to accommodate a last minute stay.
The house was very tidy and clean, except that my thirteen year old granddaughter found dirty underwear under her bed. We had a very difficult time driving to it in the dark...1am. I realize you can't control GPS but it got confused repeatedly and we had to back up in the pitch dark more than once. Sort of Twilight Zone. Finally found it.
The home is in a fairly rough neighborhood. Having said that, the home was what I expected. The house is very dated but it was clean. The beds were comfortable. We did not hear the train although the road noise from the highway is fairly loud when you are outside. It served our purposes well.
There was food in the freezer, fridge and on counters. All were past their prime. Property manager said they had used cleaners that were not their regular. Trains in the middle of the night were a surprise. Pleasant decor.
This was a convenient location for us on our trip. It was clean and had everything we needed for our one night stay. It was very loud between the interstate and railroad tracks, but it wasn’t a huge deal for just one night.
The house had three clean bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Kitchen and living room were spacious and had everything we needed. The house had a very welcoming atmosphere overall. The view from the deck was beautiful. We had a great stay - thank you.
This house was perfectly sized for three adults and a baby-- felt safe to have our two-year-old wandering around and had three rooms so she could nap/sleep while we enjoyed the patio. Everything was very clean and we had all we needed! Close drive to Shenandoah!
Great location. Close to wineries, breweries, and other fun stuff.
It was great thank you
We had a great time staying at this property as a family. My husband loved the firepit and it was nice to be out of town to enjoy the peace and quiet.
One story normal house - not a high end place. Three bedrooms of good size, and one bathroom. Nice large TV and front sliding doors to deck with view of the mountains. Yes, the highway is 1/4 mile away and a rail line behind the house. Kitchen has what you should need. We enjoyed our stay!
A lot of room in the house great view but it is near the Highway and a railroad track so can be noisy at times. Host was welcoming.
A nice house - plenty of room, good kitchen, three decent bedrooms and the most comfortable bedside rug imaginable! Access was fine in our two wheel drive car. The only problem is it directly overlooks a loud freeway so it was too noisy to enjoy the deck or outdoor space. It was quiet inside so fine as a base or if you don't mind traffic noise when sitting outside.
