We loved this little place. It was perfect for me, my daughter & Grandson. He loved the bunkbed. Beds are very comfortable. We cooked a lot so having all the needed cookware & utensils was great. It's a very private area. Felt comfortable letting my 8 year old Grandson play outside by himself. He loved collecting the shells all over. The screened in porch allowed us to play cards outside on the picnic table. This place was awesome. Nice touch was the fresh tomatoes from the owners garden sitting waiting for us on the picnic table. They were delicious. Only downfall was that they didn't supply sheets & towels. We flew in from Colorado & had to bring all of that in our suitcases, lots of extra baggage. At least we knew about this ahead of time. Other then that, we would defiantly rent this place again. We loved being in Chincoteague. Also, the cottage is a short drive to Assateague Island.

This cottage was perfect in every way.

We were there in the off season, so the setting was very quiet. Due to the proximity of the houses on either side it may have been different during the busy season. The property was very clean and house was well appointed. We were thankful for the screened porch as the mosquitoes on the island are heavy as I had read in other posts. Bring your own toilet paper, as the rolls provided are paper thin. Haha. It was a good value for the price!

Great place for a short stay as we have done twice but can see a long stay happening as well. Spotless on arrival. Perfect for a couple but plenty of room to add a person or two. Will certainly be back. Centrally located yet off the beaten track.

This is our second time staying at this property and it is perfect. It was my husband and I and our two kids. It’s just a short drive to the beach and all the things to do. Quiet little street. We love it and hope to stay again next year.

This was our first visit to Chincoteague and Pony Week. Don gave us great tips for things to do and where to watch the pony swim and parade during our 3 night stay. In addition, he gave us names of auto shops that could fix our flat tire! The small cottage was an excellent location for both the pony swim and pony parade. The cottage is cutely decorated, has lots of electrical outlets, is well stocked, but had a slight musty smell in the living room. That being said, the smell would not deter me from booking again. The bathroom was updated, had an excellent shower, and no musty smell. The cottage was a great place to stay with an awesome host.
