Island Time Cottage

Air conditioning was left off all day before our arrival with very hot conditions . It took several hours to cool down . Very quiet area which was very nice .

Great place, cozy and easy to park and get around.

We loved this little place. It was perfect for me, my daughter & Grandson. He loved the bunkbed. Beds are very comfortable. We cooked a lot so having all the needed cookware & utensils was great. It's a very private area. Felt comfortable letting my 8 year old Grandson play outside by himself. He loved collecting the shells all over. The screened in porch allowed us to play cards outside on the picnic table. This place was awesome. Nice touch was the fresh tomatoes from the owners garden sitting waiting for us on the picnic table. They were delicious. Only downfall was that they didn't supply sheets & towels. We flew in from Colorado & had to bring all of that in our suitcases, lots of extra baggage. At least we knew about this ahead of time. Other then that, we would defiantly rent this place again. We loved being in Chincoteague. Also, the cottage is a short drive to Assateague Island.

Chincoteague is a rough-and-tumble, working-class paradise that somehow manages to be both laid-back and unforgettable.For the full local experience, make time for a visit to ChincoTiki and Teaguer's—two island institutions that perfectly capture the island's personality.My only suggestion for the owners: rename the cottage Nevaeh Sands, because Nevaeh is heaven spelled backward, and after a stay here, it would be a fitting name.The primary bed features a wonderfully plush mattress, while the full-size lower bunk practically cocoons you into a deep, restful sleep.The shower deserves its own five-star review. The water pressure is phenomenal—strong enough to wash away whatever questionable decisions you may have made the night before at ChincoTiki or Teaguer's.To top off your stay, celebrate with dinner at AJ's on the Creek. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is classic Chincoteague, and if Holly is your server, you're in for a fantastic evening.

We had a great time for our girls weekend! The property was very clean and exactly as listed. The mattresses are very comfortable and the location is great!

Cozy little place for a beach base. Host was very helpful with rescheduling dates and electric issues. Very clean and well kept. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Island Time Cottage. It was in a great central location for all our activities yet privately located on a quiet road. It is a nice sized, lovely cottage, well maintained by the owner. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. I would recommend and would return.

Very cozy little place! The kitchen was very well stocked! Our only problem was that we didn’t bring bedding or towels. Upon reading the listing more thoroughly I found where it said to bring them but missed it the first time.

The room was very clean and such a reasonable price! My friends and I went the week before Memorial Day, so for 4 nights the total cost was cheaper than the cost during prime beach season. The parking was easy and right next to the house. The house was secluded, so we didn't have to worry about traffic or loud neighbors. The drive to the shops and beach were about 10-15 minutes. 10/10 would book again!

Cottage was very clean and cute. Exactly what we needed for a quick little weekend. Very quiet and private. Parking was fine, down a private street. Water did have a strong sulfur smell but went away after running the water for a little bit.

This cottage was perfect in every way.

We were there in the off season, so the setting was very quiet. Due to the proximity of the houses on either side it may have been different during the busy season. The property was very clean and house was well appointed. We were thankful for the screened porch as the mosquitoes on the island are heavy as I had read in other posts. Bring your own toilet paper, as the rolls provided are paper thin. Haha. It was a good value for the price!
