Stayed Apr 23, 2025What a find. A lovely cottage with an interesting history. Surrounded by nature. So peaceful and quite. Comfy & cosy with everything you need for your stay. Welcome package from Rachel which was much appreciated. We didn’t venture far as the cottage was so relaxing we didn’t want to go out. But we did go to one of the farm shops/ cafe Rachel recommends in her folder, Mainsgill. We had a lovely lunch and stocked up some local produce. Also bought some lovely home accessories from the shop upstais. We simply loved this place and are trying to arrange leave from work to visit again next year. I can see why it has so many return visitors & hopefully that will be us a well. Highly recommend.

Stayed Jul 21, 2023Really spacious living room, kitchen & master bedroom. I requested none fether bedding for one of the single beds, as I am allergic and this was done for us before arrival! Welcome hamper of milk, orange juice, home made bread, jam and home made biscuits! Really nice touch. All you want after a long journey is a nice snack and a drink (tea bags and coffee too!). Thank you very much Rachel, it was a wonder stay with a lovely view.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The cottage was clean and tidy and really spacious - the rooms were far larger than we expected. We spent much time every day watching the riverbank and the antics of the birds, the rabbits and the hens. The bed was very comfortable and the fod we bought from the owner was delicious.

Stayed Sep 15, 2018My wife and i enjoyed our weeks stay at the cottage,I did a bit of fishing from the garden area.the only downfall was the nearest pub was about 2 miles away not a ten minute walk.
