A classic kiwi batch overflowing with character that has amazing views of Piha and the west coast sunsets!

It is not a fancy place, but homey and peaceful with everything we need for a relaxing weekend. The view is stunning. I love the bed in the alcove and being wake up by the sun... wish I could live there.My son and I have a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing this place with us!

We had a lovely stay at this charming traditional bach. Although we didn’t meet the hosts in person, they created a welcoming experience and were great to deal with whenever we messaged them. The place offers a genuine, old-fashioned experience that’s perfect if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy a bit of classic Kiwi holiday charm.That said, we did feel that the cleanliness could have been a bit better to match the overall warmth and character of the bach. With a little extra attention in this area, it would be an even more delightful spot to stay.Overall, a wonderful experience thanks to the friendly communication and the authentic atmosphere. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a traditional getaway with a personal touch.

Cosy little cottage with everything we needed, comfy bed and deck and view were perfect

A lovely stay in a peaceful location. Close to a short(ish) walk in Mercer Bay. It was great waking up with the views overlooking Piha beach.

Really lovely 4 nights in this eclectic good old kiwi bach. Really cosy and homey with everything you need. It was great being able to bring my dog, although please note it's not fully fenced for those who have dogs who like to explore. Leena was excellent to deal with and very responsive. The view truly is gorgeous and I was very content just sitting on the deck looking at it and reading. Beach just down the Rd for some good walks and a nice walk to the Kitekite Waterfall as well. Awesome little place to go if your looking for quick, quiet and awesome getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful little Bach. Hosts were great and location was beyond expectations.

Visiting family in Auckland (from Ireland) over Christmas and New Year, we wanted a quiet few days by ourselves to recharge the batteries and couldn’t have found a better spot. Loved the views, the nearby hiking, and the beach. Great communication from hosts. Thank you!

Lovely getaway. Was for family, ended up being myself and teenage son. Perfect!The sea air, the west coast wind, the view to die for and a really well set up little bach which obviously is loved.Hosts were easy to communicate with. Need to bring all supplies as store closes 4pm - not issue, just be prepared.

It was mine and the girlfriends first time staying at a book a batch and they had provided an excellent time there, the view was amazing and the house itself was extremely cozy and nice!

Loved the kiwi authentic bach and being able to have our dogs. Great north beach to walk dogs and tracks nearby and enjoyed the cosy fire. Thankyou

We had a weekend away to chill and take a break from day-to-day busyness. This was the perfect location with an amazing view to the beach and everything we needed to do nothing. The fire had been set ready for us to light, perfect for the wet winter weekend.

Everything was so easy and relaxing from arrival to packing up again. Beautiful ocean views and the close by walks were superb. Thanks to friendly hosts, we will be back

The property was everything it advertised, my dog (Ben) and I enjoyed the facilities, the weather was another story ?

One of our favourites! Extremely relaxing and cosy. The owner extremely kindly and immediately took the trip out from town to rescue us when we managed to lock ourselves out of the bathroom! He was far nicer than we deserved, lol.

The sweetest bach, had everything we needed. We were warm and cosy. Stunning views, comfy bed and fire at night was perfect. We would stay again definately Uniquely kiwi and reminds me of my childhood.

The property was wonderful, clean, relazign quiet and cozy. The dog next door was super cute. 10/10 would stay again.
