Lovely house equiped with everything we needed. Very clean and tidy and extremely cosy. Upon our arrival the owner welcomed us in a very friendly way. I recommend this house to anyone who wants/needs rest and peace. We had a lovely holiday and I would certainly return to this place?

We stayed here a week in this cottage and it was delightful. Nestling just below the castle, up above the town, it is the ideal place to stay - convenient if you want to get into town and eat at the very good Lobo do Mar restaurant (suggested to us by the owner, and where the locals eat), or if you want to get out and explore the fantastic coastline and national parks. You can walk from the cottage to see the castle above which gives the history to the town. The cottage itself was lovely - if you don't like staying in sterile holiday apartments this is for you. It has fabulous views over the town and the sea and a lovely shaded garden (for those of you who take an interest in lawns, you have got to see this grass!! Thick, lush and springy like you've never seen!). I would suggest you have a car - but you could walk into the town and the beaches if you didn't - you'd just be missing out on the rest. You can get to Lisbon in less than an hour and it is a wonderful city. We were staying as a couple, but there are two other beds on the mezzanine level. And there's everything you could want in this little house. The owner is very friendly and kindly waited until gone midnight for us to arrive. We were here just a week and will be back to explore further.

We had a great stay in Sesimbra. The house is very nice, with a well equiped kitchen and comfortable sleeping accomondation. The people of the Barroso familiy are very friendly and helpful. They gave us support in every case and therefore it was no problem to get along for us. The house is situated very idylically just nearby the Arraber Castle and you have a magnificient view on the ocean! Everyone is very child-friendly and it is a little paradise for children who can play around the area anyway. We are strongly recommending this accomodation.

The house has everything you need. Everything for cooking. Large space. A garden around it. And above all, a great and large rooftop terrace with a stunning view on the sea. It was all clean. The owners were there to help us anytime. They live on the same property. But we had some problems with the wi-fi though. It never worked properly. On the other hand, the location is really good. On the hills of Sesimbra. Not in the centre of it, but not far. 15min by foot from the bus station. If you don't have a car: plenty of buses to drive you around the region. 15 mins from the beach of Sesimbra. And since the house is up the hills, you are almost in the nature, far from the few disgracious buildings of Sesimbra. Sesimbra has some bad sides for mass tourism. But having the accomodation in Sesimbra is a central location to travel around, in the parque natural da arrabida, to praia do meco, cabo espichel. One of the best region of Portugal. I advice a stay in the house. I was glad to spend some days there.
