We had a fantastic time at this amazing house, with lots of space inside and out. The house is located on a multigenerational farm, and there is plenty of space! It was very clean and we had everything we could need for a stay with the children. There was also lots more to do in the area than we knew, and we enjoyed going to the lake at Angers and biking to the local villages.

We had a wonderful time here. The kids (and we) really enjoyed the very nice swimming pool and hot tub - that was their highlight! There was lots of space in the garden, a bbq and very nice walk around the lake. The house was really spacious and the open plan kitchen/living area was ideal. The layout of the bedrooms upstairs also worked really well for us as a family with young children. The nice, quiet air conditioning made a big difference upstairs when we hit a heat wave. The family were very responsive and helpful beforehand and during our stay. It was in a peaceful location but with lots of interesting things to do nearby. We really enjoyed the historic village at Le parc de la couere (old carriages and cars, animals, 'train ride' behind a bumpy tractor, 1950s carousel rides, and a 1900s village). We went to Angers several times as well, it was very easy to get to, very interesting and lots to see. We had a really wonderful, memorable time and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic holiday let with everything we needed. Hosts were fantastic and answered any questions we had. Some beautiful towns/villages nearby. The kids loved going for walks around the lake and seeing all the farm animals. Would certainly visit again.

This is a lovely house for a large group. We were two families of four with children between 3 and 5. We just took it easy and hung around the house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went on walks (bring boots!), visited the cows and horses and just loved the pool. The trampoline was the best for the kids!! Guylaine was an excellent host. Available but discreet. I fully recommend staying here!

Had a great week at Bouju this August. Pool is fab, and the children loved the football table, and outdoor play equipment. Kitchen is good - especially the spacious industrial grade fridge - perfect! Multiple supermarkets within 10 minutes and loads to see very close by. Don’t miss the castle in the centre of Angers, and then the children’s playground near the river. Thank you for a great stay!

Had a great time here, lovely location with plenty of space for the kids and adults to play and relax. Two comments I would make; The beds are not all in bedrooms, it did sleep all 12 of us, but there are only 3 bedrooms with the last two sofa beds being on the upper landing and in the living room. We were fine with all the kids in the large bedroom and the adults in two bedrooms and the landing. The other comment is the flies. The location is on a cow farm and we went in a very hot period, so this meant lots and lots of flies. We managed it with fly paper and a competition amongst the kids as to who could swot the most, but it did get to you at times and meant you had to be very conscious when preparing food. On the whole though a great place and easy to reach lots of activities and interesting places.

My wife and I, along with my son, daughter-in-law, and 2 grandchildren had a lovely week in this lovely property. The children loved the trampoline and the table football and everyone enjoyed relaxing in the pool and hot tub which was very well kept. We had all the assistance we needed from the owners of the property who could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed visits to the zoo at Doue-La-Fontaine and Les Machines De L'ile in Nantes. My wife and I visited the local Chateau which is only 5 minutes in the car from the property and we all had visits to the surrounding towns which were all very picturesque. If you are looking for a quiet break where you can relax and enjoy rural France then this is the place to go.
