In a protected site where nature is preserved, this small adjoining salt worker house was built before 1830. She has been in the family for several generations, she is located in a dead end 250 meters from a place steeped in history, the Château de Suscinio 'Residence of the Dukes of Brittany'. Continuing the dead end, you can reach, by a pedestrian path, the cove of Suscinio the large beach about 7 km long, bordered by old salt marshes and an ornithological reserve. The rental includesa ground floor with living room with fireplace, open kitchen, bathroom and separate WC. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms with maximum sleeping for 4 people, possibility of having a cot. The most of this old house is its small enclosed garden with trees, completely independent located at the rear of the house, it will seduce you with its hardiness to the various plantations (fig, vine, oak, walnut, acacia, laurel, hydrangeas, roses ...) on 100 m2. A private parking space is less than 20 meters away. Children and small children can easily roam around in the garden in complete safety. Four-legged friends are welcome. Hiking trails have been developed and the diversity of landscapes both seaside and countryside side will complete the discovery of our beautiful town of Sarzeau. A small welcome gift will be offered to you upon your arrival.
From 09/09/2019 until 21/12/2021, work on the public spaces of the access road to the castle of Suscinio and its surroundings will be carried out outside the summer periods. For any stay made during the maintenance of the work activity, a discount of 15% will be made by the owner.

A pretty, traditional cottage right next to Chateau de Suscinio . Marie-Renee is an excellent, helpful, kind host. She even brought us tomatoes from her garden. The gîte is equipped with everything you might need. The coast is accessible by bike or on foot. We had a lovely week.

The house is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We had a lovely stay, the house is a traditional Breton cottage - beds very comfortable, good shower, wasing machine , dishwasher and beautiful garden. M. Et Mme Le Grande are very welcoming and had good recommendations for restaurants (creperie de la ferme at boderin) and beaches. We had a lovely week, thank you!

We loved this little cottage. It is situated in a quite village, near the castle. There is a creperie and a biscuit shop near by and the next big supermarket is in easy driving distance. We found it an ideal place to discover the area. The wifi did not work for us but that did not bother us too much as we were on holidays. And we found the beds quite hard but that's a matter of taste. Our host was wonderful. Very kind and helpful.
