Hot Tub, Dock, View! Waterfront Great Pond Cottage

Amenities were thoughtful and useful, home was very comfortable, and the host very accommodating. Lovely spot.

Absolutely beautiful property, the privacy was unrivaled and I’m from a very rural area in PA. The views were awesome and the cabin had everything we needed and then some! Highly recommended for a family getaway or lovers getaway. We honeymooned there and will forever treasure the time we had there enjoying the lake fishing and autumn trees turning.

Had an incredible time at this cottage in Great Pond. The cottage was wonderfully stocked and we felt at home right away. The screened in porch is probably where we spent the most time and was perfect for our two dogs. The water was absolutely beautiful and we were happy to have use of the canoe. Like others have said, finding the property was a bit tough, but read the check in instructions and you'll be fine.

Enjoyed a restful stay

We had a lovely stay in Great Pond! Sun room is gorgeous and there are plenty of places to enjoy the lake. As a backyard birder I especially enjoyed the Loons, Owls, Chickadees and so much more in the surrounding trees. The only thing that was unfortunate was the dock wasn’t yet set up, and that was a major reason we were looking forward to our stay. There weren’t many safe areas without the dock to load in and out especially with a dog. Still, looking forward to future visits to the area!

We had a great time! The house was very clean and beautiful. The only complaint, was the docks were not out on the water as advertised in the listing and the wifi did not work. I would maybe add to the listing that docks are only out during certain times of year.

Such a lovely property! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the beautiful views as well as the fire pit and hot tub, such a lovely spot. Our dog has never been happier getting to swim in the stunning pond and relax on the deck and screened in porch. The home inside is so lovely as well and even if the weather wasn’t 100% outside we enjoyed watching movies inside. Although it’s a little ways away to Acadia we still were excited after a long day of hiking to come back and enjoy the serene property. We would definitely book this property again and cannot recommend it enough!

Nice stay, we enjoyed our stay. The location is unique and enjoyable, but be aware that the locarion is quite remote and there is limited phone service on the property. Also, the water heater does not keep up with hot water demands if there are a lot of people needing water. Overall, we were glad we chose this house because it was a very nice setting. Our family loved the hot tub and the very large pond.

This was truly a dream.My parents, my little pup and I spent an amazing week at the Great Pond retreat in July.. We got very lucky with the weather . The house had everything we could’ve ask for and more. It was set up with love and we could tell the owners put a lot of thought into every detail. Gene was very responsive and helpful.We all relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.We loved it so much that immediately after getting home we booked the house for the next year’s summer vacation.
