We arrived exhausted late in the afternoon after a long haul from Wales, we unloaded our stuff and settled for the night. When we got up on our first morning and opened the curtains were greeted with a white blanket of snow which was just a wonderful sight, After that the weather was fantastic and we were able to get to lots of places around the Lake District., The accommodation was great and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We were welcomed by Joanne when we arrived and met all the family including Aunt and Uncle in the following days, they made us feel like part of the family and we will always remember them with fondness. We really didn't want to leave and one week was definitely not long enough, we really hope we will be lucky enough to return one day.
