Stayed May 28, 2021Cute little cottage. Met all our needs. Nice deck. Cute area to cook out with very nice grill. Very clean with all our needs. Away from the hustle a bustle in a small community. Will stay again.

Stayed Sep 12, 2025I stayed at the cottage while attending the Walnut Valley Flatpicking Champoinship in Winfield. It was the perfect retreat for me. The bed was comfortable, I loved the air conditioning and the quiet. Dexter is a beautiful town in a beautiful part of Kansas. The cottage had everything I needed.

Stayed May 23, 2025It was cute and it satisfied the need for a room without having to stay at a hotel. The couch was visibly dirty from maybe a dog with dirty feet. I’m sure it was just an oversight by the cleaner after the last guest. There is also a water leak from the shower into the living area. From the looks of the place these issues will be remedied before the next guest. It is a very quiet and tiny town.

Stayed Aug 2, 2023Two things the property manager needs to know: during a rain storm there was a considerable leak coming in from the west French doors sopping rugs and bed linens draping on the floor. Also, the kitchen sink is not draining properly, backing up 3-4 inches in the basin. Overall, though, it was a pleasant stay and much needed accommodations in this tiny community.

Stayed Oct 13, 2020The house was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed walking around looking at the old builds and wondering what they had been. Enjoyed the chickens behind me and the rooster who crowed in the morning. Nice quiet get away and will do it again.
