Stayed Jun 28, 2019The cottage was very well decorated and thought out. It was in a very quiet and beautiful area. We loved our time there.

Stayed Apr 22, 2019We arrived a little early, but the house was clean and all ready for us, and exactly as described on the website. Yneke and Peter made us very welcome, as did Foxy the dog, and the weather was very kind too. It Koaihus has been very tastefully restored and modernised, but the ladder-style staircase might be a problem for anyone with limited mobility, while a joy for the younger generation. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we cooked dinner every evening. We visited the the National Park 'De Alde Feanen', Leeuwarden, the Frisian coast and the nearby Aqua Zoo, which were all quiet in late April. Overall, a very pleasant and restful post-Easter break for the two of us.

Stayed Jun 11, 2018We spent a happy week cycling, mostly from the house, to visit all the pretty, local canal-filled towns and villages. It is 'low key', but we found lots to do - particularly at the nearby national park and the northern islands. The house itself was a relaxing base, and the owners very helpful.
