The house was absolutely gorgeous, well laid out and perfectly decorated with a lovely wrap around porch to enjoy the breeze off the ocean. Everything was neat, clean, and accommodating including insanely comfortable beds. The location is also perfect, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, and grocery shopping or just a quick drive up to Savannah. We'd gladly stay here again on our next trip to Tybee!

The house was perfect for our family. The pool was very clean and being that the weather was cooler, the heated pool was wonderful. We rented bikes and rode them to and from the beach everyday. The kids loved it. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and enjoy the sunsets from the porch. We will be coming back to this beautiful historical home.

This house was great. Was as advertised and lots of space to hang out. The porch was awesome. We did learn upon arriving that beach chairs were provided at the house. There is not direct beach access but it is a short walk up the street. I would definitely stay here again.

There was plenty of space for all of us and the pool was awesome. I would definitely recommend! The property is a little hard to find so be sure to look for 12th place!

Reviewer Comments: A springtime shake up in our favorite family rental resulted in a move to another Jane Coslick cottage renovation that I’ve had my eye on for a while. “As Time Goes By” proved to be a sweet setting for our traditional Tybee getaway. Wide doorways and passageways on the bottom level was a perfect fit for our youngest daughter who uses a walker. Tybee ‘s commitment to serving physically disabled adults by providing free beach wheelchairs and recently expanding the number of chairs allowed us to keep the chair with us all week. Ping pong and puzzles on the porch. Wide ranging conversations with my grandchildren and their parents (once we all put our devices down). Introducing the kiddos to Celebrity became their obsession. Two rainy days midweek provided a nice break from the rigors of packing for the beach. Quick response by the rental company to a busted air conditioner allowed us to sleep comfortably for the night before a permanent solution was put in place the next day. Kudos to all!

We had a group of 9 ladies who all had a wonderful time. The house is a very good size and was clean. We used the pool a ton, but were also very close to the beach. It was a plus that the house provided beach towels, chairs, a small cooler, etc. for a beach day. Was also in walking distance to numerous bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Great Property with a lot of space. We were a party of 10 that included 3 generations. Overall great experience! The pool was a great amenity! Beach access was a bit more difficult than expected. Cleanliness was ok.

Property was extremely clean and checkin was effortless. The amount of character this home exudes is amazing and the decor gives a comfy, charming appeal. Abundance of porch space provides the perfect place to relax with family and the pool heated to a comfy 90 degrees on some very chilly evenings. Bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms are nicely updated while still providing the feel of a 1920’s home. High ceilings and original doorways provide a historic southern charm that is consistent with Savannah architecture. Restaurants and shops are only a few blocks away and the beach is a one block walk from the home. I would definitely recommend this vacation home and would make it my go to for visits to the Tybee area. Thank you for the unforgettable stay!

The homes was super clean and we appreciated that Tybee Cottages had everything so organized. The character of the home has been maintained while the kitchen and baths have been updated to reflect how we live today. There was plenty of room for our party of 9 to spread out while the gathering spaces were large enough for us to all be together comfortably. Having our own private pool was great for our two youngest family members - ages 2 and 7. AND - the gorgeous wrap-around porch was AMAZING! We really appreciated the ping pong table, toys and games which were provided to entertain the kids after days at the beach. We only had one maintenance issue during our week and someone was sent out to fix it within an hour. We will definitely stay at this property again!
