Problems with the home unfortunately, the prior persons staying left a big bowl of candy that attracted 4 legged takers. It was very unique home. Lot of specialty carpentry work. We were looking forward to our stay, the 2nd floor was very nice. While we did get our money back from the stay, vrbo screwed us on refunding all their fees even though we did have all the insurances to cover mishaps out of our control. That really sucks. Actually the 2nd time they screwed us, first time was hurricane. Is there another such service with better customer relations & service.

The nice part about staying at this location was access to downtown Manitou. At the end of the day, you park your car and your only minutes away from town. Just an easy walk within 5 minutes to all of the shops and restaurants.

This house was beautiful and a short walk to downtown Manitou Springs. We would love to stay here again. The only con we had is that the downstairs bathroom is a little snug.

The house is unusual as there are many steps to the upstairs which is the access to the outdoor living area. The bathroom in the downstairs is very small as the toilet is not easily accessible because of the narrow area.

The home is very interesting. It is an older home that has been madeup very cute. The master bedroom is on the second floor with an extremely narrow staircase, creating difficulty moving suit cases to the bedroom. The bedroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. The home is located very close to the downtown area with many novelty shops and restaurants.

This property was so cool! We booked it for a festival at the park about 3 blocks away. Walkimg to downtown was a breeze. Fair warning, the walk back from downtown was a bit more difficult. The steep incline let me know how out of shape I was. But, this is the mountains, after all! The back yard deck was an amazing surprise.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming, quintessential historic home in Manitou Springs, CO, and it was an experience we won't forget. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and a sense of coziness that made it feel like a true home away from home. The home itself was a beautiful blend of historic charm and modern comfort, with every detail thoughtfully curated. The wood beams, antique furnishings, and original features added so much character, while the comfortable living area made it easy to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the area. The location was perfect for a weekend getaway, just a short stroll from the heart of Manitou Springs with its shops, restaurants, and natural beauty. Whether we were lounging on the porch with a cup of coffee or retreating inside for a quiet evening, it was easy to feel at peace and completely content. We absolutely loved our stay here. The home was welcoming, impeccably clean, and had everything we needed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We would definitely return!

We loved the decor and ambiance of the house. Seen doe and baby fawn. Loved the closeness to the main street and things to see. Also appreciated the info from previous quests. It was perfect for our 2 night stay in Manitou Springs. Thank you for sharing your home.

One of our party was injured due to unsafe conditions with rotten wood in several places (deck and front porch). We went to the highest deck through the master suite, one of us sat on a chair, and it immediately went through a rotten board on the deck, causing a fall with injuries. We have contacted the host and Vrbo with no response or resolution. We contacted Vrbo multiple times, and while we were promised that we would be called and emailed back, we have received neither. The injuries ruined plans for the rest of our vacation.

This house was fantastic and the location was amazing. We came to Manitou for the wine festival and had no idea how close the house would be to it! We had the best time and we loved sitting out on the upper deck together. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed the convenience of this property - Close to town and surrounding attractions. Not as clean as we like (trash still in the cans in the kitchen and noticed the floor was very dirty when we dropped something and had get on our knees to pick it up). Over all a good stay
