Hidden Gem Rustic private Cottage but minutes to downtown Fredericksburg.

The property was well stocked with extras like snacks and s’mores. The property was quiet and peaceful in a country setting.

We absolutely loved this rental. We had the best time watching the full moon in the hot tub with our kiddos. The host's set up was the best I've ever seen - down to the square marshmallows she provides for s'mores. We will definitely be back.

Clean property just outside of town, only minutes away from everything. Large, nice hot tub and a fire pit outdoors (with wood provided). Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

This was such a cozy little house! Booked for our 2nd anniversary! Perfect for a little privacy, while also close enough to wineries and things in town. Our dog loved running in the wildflowers in the side yard!

Yes the hot tub was hot enough. and the kitchen had most essentials to cook.

We were unable to stay at this property due to the front door not locking, the hot tub was empty and wires exposed….those were the major safety issues. But on the outside, it was completely overgrown. The yard was overgrown and the tree branches and bushes were so overgrown that you had to duck to get to the front door.

Beautiful cottage with lots of privacy..easy access in and out close to shopping downtown. Would stay again!

The hot tub was a little murky. We had to switch to another property due to the first's hot tub not working. I did not realize that it had stairs.

It was such an enjoyable stay. The cottage was very clean, the views were great, and it was a peaceful setting. We only had one issue, the coffee pot wasn’t working. I contacted, Maria, and she brought a new out that day. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice! Quiet with lots of outdoor space. The county road has some traffic but wasn't bad- great for leash walk with my dog. Hot tub was comfy. Kitchen was nicely supplied with items to prepare meals on the cooktop.

Very nice small one bedroom. Very clean and property contact is prompt and very attentive. Very helpful. Note that there is no washer / dryer. Can't remember if that was noted in information. Only downside is that the internet is very slow and spotty. Had to reset the tv around every 30-35 mins due to lag. Otherwise we loved it!

Peaceful property and really relaxing. Close to town which made going back and forth easy. I should have looked at the amenities first as there is no oven (there is a full cooktop) so just throwing that out there to double check! It was great to have coffee/creamer and paper dinnerware provided, we left our charcoal as it seems others did too and we noticed too late. Would stay again.

The property showed to have an oven however there was not one in the house. The host did bring us a toaster oven but still the description said it had an oven. Also we could not log into Netflix because there was already 4 locked accounts logged in.

Cute place, had everything we needed was perfect distance from Main St. Felt like we were out in the country, but still so close to everything.

Hot tub felt good the first night, the second night the weather was cold & the hot tub would not get hotter than 94 degrees which was not warm enough. We bought frozen pizza only to later realize there was no oven. Our fault for not checking, but an oven is a pretty standard appliance for a rental home to have.

Very cute, clean, comfortable, well-maintained cabin. We loved the hot tub, making meals in the well-equipped kitchen, grilling, and using the fire pit. Location is awesome - quiet and lots of land, but a short drive from downtown, parks and wineries. I appreciated how the owner didn’t have signs around the place telling you what to do and not do or check-out requirements (clean up, take out trash, etc., although we did do our best to leave the place clean and neat) like lots of rental places do. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property. Clean, quiet and perfect for a weekend getaway in Fredericksburg! Diane is a wonderful host and very responsive. There’s a Cute fire pit for smores and the hot tub was perfect! We definitely will be back!!

The home was in good standing. The spot was perfect for a nice little getaway. They provided more than enough blankets, sheets, towels and my gawd we did not want to get out of the comfortable bed. No oven but that was okay. Everything else was great! Definitely would recommend to others!

The cottage was great! It was convenient to town and the host was very welcoming. It had a great coffee bar and the snacks were yummy. The hot tub and fire pit was a nice addition. Highly recommended!

Nestled at the base of some hills, the cottage was beautiful and felt very safe. Less than 10 minutes outside of Fredericksburg but feels like the country. The accommodations we used were Netflix, the hot tub, and the fire pit. We left for some hours to explore Enchanted Rock and lunch in Fredericksburg.Only complaint is that the pull out couch in the main living space was not very comfortable. The sheets did not fit it and had some stains.

Place was great! Conveniently located close to Fredericksburg and enchanted rock. We had a wonderful time here. The hot tub was perfect. No complaints.

Hot tub was broken but within a couple hours was back up and running great service.

We had a very relaxing and peaceful weekend here at the cabin for our anniversary. The cabin was very unique and had everything we needed for the weekend! The host was so gracious to come and drop off more firewood for us at no extra charge! We had a blast and are so thankful!

My fiance and I just needed a peaceful weekend to relax. This was the perfect place! The hot tub was beautiful. The view of the Tx hill country was incredible. It was so quiet. Cooking on the grill and relaxing by the fire pit was perfect!

Loved it! Had everything we needed & then some. I haven’t had a s’more since I was a kid & loved the extra items to make them. Plenty of thoughtful kitchen supplies, coffee supplies & snacks. We will be back! %

What a great experience liked hot tub and scenery

I like staying in this property for several reasons. It is in a dark area so I can shoot pictures of galaxies. The area is fenced, so deer don't push over my tripod. The bed is comfortable, the 2 heat pumps work well, it has a full kitchen, and the wi-fi signal is strong. Not to mention all the pictures and the hot tub!

This little house was exactly what we needed for a quiet birthday getaway to wine country. Quiet property, and the night sky was beautiful.

We booked for three nights but on day two had to cut our trip short due to a family emergency. We packed quickly to come home and left a necklace. I messaged the owner and she found it and said she'd mail it. It's been three weeks, multiple messages and nothing. Our fault for leaving it there but she's been less than helpful in returning it. She was paid in full for a three night stay when we only stayed one. No water, electric etc used and she definitely made money on our stay. Asking multiple times to have a small item (with sentimental value) returned isn't asking too much. Very disappointed.

Just what we were looking for. Well provisioned, spacious, private, cozy. Felt at home as soon as we walked in.

Great location to get out of business of town. House needed a little updating with tv and outside lights but other than that very comfortable. Would recommend for couple getaway!!

Very nice and quiet area. We enjoyed coffee sitting on the porch rocking chairs. More than enough coffee and snacks were provided. Items to make smores were also provided. Plenty of towels and all neccesities were at reach. Due to the weather (strong winds) we were not able to use the hot tub or fire pit. Hopefully we will next time!

We loved having a little house all to ourselves on acreage just outside Fredericksburg. It was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable. Will definitely plan to stay here again!

We came here for a mini girls’ weekend and it was a dream! The property is gorgeous and the house is so quaint and cozy. You’re only a few minutes from town but feel so far away from the city when you’re on the property. It was a dream! We loved our stay and highly recommend!

Nice little cottage, plenty of kitchen utensils to cook a meal, plenty of towels and extra blankets. The bed was comfy. It was a wonderfully relaxing week. I would highly recomnend this cottage.

Loved this property we stayed at over thanksgiving. the perfect place if you’re looking for a getaway. only 10 min from downtown and maine street, but far enough so you’re secluded and away from people! the house was beautiful, clean, and offered great amenities. the host was a great communicator and answers messages quickly. recommend staying here !!

The wife and I had such a great stay over our two night stay! The home was cozy and relaxing. It had everything you could ask for for a simple get away… Fire pit, BBQ grill, warming living room fireplace, hot tub, scenic view with wildlife near by, decent space between neighbors, located it a nice gated neighborhood, and close to the shops and restaurants in Fredericksburg… we would definitely stay again!!

Me and my lovely beautiful and exquisite new wife loved this cabin!!! It was exactly what we had hoped for for a small get away honeymoon. It was super close to town but far enough outside that we didn’t hear the night life. All in all, it was the PERFECT get away. We loved our stay and will be returning in the future.

My husband and I stayed here with our two pups. Diane was very responsive and accommodating. The house was great, very clean. The yard was huge and the dogs loved exploring. We will definitely come back and stay again.

My husband & I decided on a quick getaway to Fredericksburg after planning & celebrating our son’s wedding. Just wanted a break & enjoy the area since it’s been a while!! The home was perfect just as described & pictured. It was close to the heart of town yet felt far enough away that you could enjoy the peace & quiet of the country. This property was perfect for a weekend trip. Isolated enough to recharge, but close enough to town to catch an uber and not worry about driving after sampling wine all day. It was beautiful and comfortable, and was easily the best vacation rental I've stayed in. Would definitely come back!

Extremely clean and private. Wonderful for private getaway of 2. Me and my Husband had a very pleasant experience here. We hope to come back as soon as we can. The hot tub was super clean and set up for instant use. We appreciate the snacks and s’more’s kit they provided.

The property is comfortable and very near Fredericksburg; that was great because we went to the museum of the Pacific war. I wish the hot tub had been better, but I said something to them and hopefully they are working on that. we had our dog with us and she was fine and comfortable, we were there the three of us, my husband, my son and myself. Kris and I are in our late 70s and our son is in his 50s. We were all fairly happy with the accommodations. We cooked meals there; the dishes and pots and pans and things are all great. Threfrigerator is very cold.

Nice home in a great location. Remote enough to be quiet but close enough to town to enjoy. Everything was as the listing showed and the snacks were a nice surprise. Enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit and enjoying the night sky.
