The Solas Pod was a wonderful place to stay. It is newly constructed and the owners have really thought about how to make the small space work. The kitchen has new appliances and quality pots and pans. The heated floor warmed the space with ease. It was snug and cosy inside even when there was a gale raging outside. There is also fast wifi and a smart TV. The bed was very comfortable although felt narrow for two people. The location is close to the wonderful Taigh Iar beach and there were corncrakes and other birds nesting in the fields in spring. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home.
