Heated indoor pool & spa, countryside holiday cottage near the beach & park

Swallow’s Nest had all we needed, was well presented and clean. We all enjoyed the pool/spa facilities available as well as the beautiful gardens. We were made to feel welcome and appreciated the info on the local area and suggestions for things to do. Would recommend ?

We really enjoyed our stay at Swallows Nest. The cottage is spacious, light and well equipped. We enjoyed the countryside, local walks and of course the swimming pool, the steam room and the lovely garden. Chris was very helpful making the booking and check-in very smooth. No surprise that the cottage is booked until late November, but we will be back :-) Thank you, Chris and Erick

Cottage is in a good location, most places are easy to get to. Chris the host was on hand to help out with anything issues we had (not that we really had any). He made some great recommended walking routes (be aware though as one of the beaches was a nudist beach and we got. A bit of a shock!!) Pretty much got use of the pool and hot tub whenever we wanted to use it which was a lot! The beds were really comfortable, so much so that we are looking to get the same mattress for our house. We would certainly have no hesitation recommending Swallows Nest and even my dad is now looking a booking for next year!

The accommodation was more than suitable for our needs, with the highlight being the excellent pool/hot tub/steam room area. Chris and Erick were extremely helpful and recommended as hosts. Thanks for the stay!

Haven't been able to take the kids swimming this year due to covid so having access to the pool, which we have had to ourselves whenever we have gone to use it has been just wonderful. The setting is beautiful, Chris and Erick are lovely and we have been pretty much left to ourselves. Gorgeous walks and beaches locally (though some very steep hills which has been a challenge as I gave birth 9 weeks ago!) Property has everything we needed as a family of 5 including a newborn, 3 year and 7 year old. Pool was warm - though we did have new baby in a warm wetsuit just in case. And gardens are gorgeous.

Great property with all mod cons and very clean. Lovely gardens and great location close to the sea and nice walks. We enjoyed using the pool. Chris and Erik were there if we needed them, but didn’t intrude on our privacy. We have already booked our return trip.

We've just come back from a wonderful week at Swallow's Nest. Everything from the house and gardens to the facilities were superb and we would recommend a stay in this lovely holiday home.
