Lovely Apartment above Hastings Old Town

Lovely apartment, beautiful garden and outside space, spacious and clean.

There was nothing not to like, we will come back again!!

We had such a lovely stay - the hosts were accommodating and friendly and the property was cosy, homely and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden in the autumn mornings, which felt like a sanctuary - listening to the birds and enjoying the plants and trees. The gas fire in the living room was warming in the evenings. Beds were comfy, space was clean and it's a lovely location up on a hill, an enjoyable 15-20 minute ramble into Hastings Old Town.

Great location and accommodation

A very pleasant stay with our hosts Clare and Andrew in the heights of Hastings. Seduction guaranted by their wonderful garden and the nice atmosphere of the appartment where we spent a happy week mid August !

Perfect location for 2 nights. The owners, Claire and Andrew made us very welcome and gave us helpful tips on what do do in Hastings. Very clean, comfortable accomodation and beautiful garden.

Spotlessly clean and within a 5 minute drive of the beach/town centre or a 15 min walk away. Quiet location and spacious rooms. Very comfortable double bed. Lots of storage, equipped kitchen with basics - salt etc. On-street parking with spaces available. Great communication from hosts. Would book again!

Andrew and Clare are absolutely delightful hosts nothing was too much trouble for them.The apartment was very cosy and yet spacious absolutely immaculate throughout it’s ideally located and there’s even a slight sea veiw from two of the rooms.would definitely recommend this place and hopefully we definitely be coming back.

The appartment is very beautiful, cosy, clean and calm and ideal for a family with kids. The owners Clare and Andrew are very friendly and helpful and supported us out with maps and recommendations about the area and train and bus-use. We traveled with our own car from Germany and it is possible to park close to the house. It is okay to use the pretty garden.. We really, really want to recommend this offer! We had a perfect stay there at Clares and Andrews house and want to say thank you for all. We would like to come back, if we come back to Hastings / Sussex.

Super stay in Hastings. Servicefriendly and very helpfull hosts.

Beautiful space, perfect as a base to explore the area. Garden is immaculate and with a lovely veranda area to sit outside. Clare and Andrew were welcoming and helpful. Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils you may need and also some condiments. Lovely bathroom with a great power shower and plenty of hot water. Bed was really comfortable. Lots of local information leaflets and games (plus Lego) to keep all ages entertained if the weather is not kind.

My husband, infant and I stayed for three nights at this wonderful rental. We appreciated the impressive antiques in the home, the beautiful gardens, and the warm cozy fireplace. The place was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. We bought some groceries in town and made breakfast each morning. Clare and Andrew were both very kind and helpful when we needed them. The flat is a nice walk into town through pedestrian walkways. Our baby is still small enough that she was very easy to carry up and down the hill, but when we needed to take a taxi, it came quickly and brought us into town for a very affordable price of six euros. The bus route can also drop you off a block away from the house which we utilized a few times. Andrew recommended a few restaurants that were delicious. The flat was perfect for our needs and we would glady return.
