Stayed Jul 14, 2025This is an extraordinary cottage, thoughtfully designed and beautifully equipped. It is exactly what the description promised -- lovely surroundings, comfortable, light-filled rooms, and a quick walk to Wakefield's interesting town center. The hosts are warm and welcoming. They live in a separate house on the premises, but the cottage feels very private and is surrounded by gardens. We would definitely stay here again. It is the nicest of the many cottages we have rented over the years. And we were pleased to see that there is a fast EV charger at the local Chevy dealer -- open for anyone to use just with a credit card.
