Stayed May 16, 2025The hosts were welcoming & easy to communicate with. The property was peaceful, we even heard owls in the trees. A magical spot in DSM. Close to parks, great places to eat and a homey feel. Plus their dog was a sweetheart. It was a comfortable spot! Thank you!!

Stayed Oct 3, 2025The neighborhood is actually really great and everything about the cottage was as advertised. Our only issue with the LOCATION is that it was advertised as a ‘13 minute walk to Drake University”. It definitely is not 13 minutes; closer to 30. We were hoping to leave our vehicle parked for the weekend, but due to the weather (90s in October!) and the 30 minute walk, we ended up driving both days. Not a huge deal, and overall we really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for this busy mom and dad visiting their twins at Drake U!

Stayed Jul 23, 2025Place is super cute, furnished with all the necessities, clean comfortable and efficient. Owner is responsive and quick to help. There are 3 fantastic restaurants within 15 min walk. The Flying Mango, featured on Food network Diners, Drive-ins and Dives is also close. We can also recommend Waveland Golf course nearby! Really fun course and hilly as the name suggests. :)
