Hamlet Oasis resort: 1 bedroom apartment, close to the ocean

This is a very good location but you need a car. Just far enough away from cruise crowds but still close to the main part of the city a few minutes away. Good size pool on premises it’s clean and well managed just like the property. The 1BR apartment is super comfortable for the 4 of us. It had almost everything you would need for your stay. The host is great very informative and helpful, will guide you with everything you need to make your stay wonderful.

The property is located in a very nice area. You are not on the ocean, but a quick walk gets you there. The apartment is well appointed. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. All the kitchen appliances you would want. They are redoing the kitchen this fall. The swimming pool is very nice and the grounds are well maintained. There was property maintenance going on, so you might want to check if that is happening as it was a bit bothersome - noise and decks cleared of chairs, etc. There is no outdoor shower at the unit, but there is one at the pool. The owner is very responsive to questions. Just be aware if you rent a car/truck from them you will need to pay cash - not credit card.

This property is located in the Hamlet Oasis community. It is out of “town” but close to all needed amenities. A vehicle is a must. Dive Friends scuba shop on the property which is great for getting your gear in the morning. The master bedroom has two twin beds but was converted with a mattress topper on request. There is an attached studio suite. You can easily hear your neighbor. We had no issues but a noisy tenant could be annoying. If you are planning to do a lot of cooking be aware the cooktop cooks hot and you will have to be mindful. Any concerns we had we address promptly and without issue. We would recommend this property for a couple looking for a scuba vacation.

We enjoyed the spacious ocean villa. We had everything we needed for our 15 day stay. Very clean comfortable home away from home. My daughter stayed for her spring break and was comfortable in the loft. We loved the patio, and birds, grounds all nice on our evenings back from a day of diving. we walked over to dive friends to sit on the benches and watch the sunset over the ocean. This is our 6th year and one of our favorite villas. We will certainly be back. Thank you Ingrid.

The property is well maintained, clean, quiet, and convenient to nearby dive services and beach access for morning swims. Full kitchen (could use some sharper knives). Fully stocked linen and bathroom. We had great communication before arriving, and readily available information about the unit, and all services that might be needed upon arrival. We stayed for 1 month and had as much customer service as we wanted (weekly laundry and contact information for any questions). We also rented our vehicle with the unit. Older model - but this is Bonaire - don't need a shiny new truck to get around. It worked well for us. Great place for 2 people, and also had an upstairs loft for additional guests if needed.

It is a spacious apartment for two. Kitchen is ok and a big refrigerator completers it perfectly. The bedroom is spacious and the airco and/or fan make sleep easy. The bathroon is good, no complaints. There is a tv, however we never used it, we preferred to stay at the large porch and enjoyed the weather. The swimming pool is just a few steps away. Do you want to see the sunset? It’s only a 5 minute walk to the seashore. A dive and snorkling spot, For us it is place to return to. One thing ....... you need a car to travel around. Out for dinner? Captain Don’s is just a 5 minute walk away.

This a spacious 1 bedroom with loft. The large bed downstairs is comfortable and the loft has 2 singles (or a double together). This could easily sleep a couple down stairs and kids upstairs, or even 4 adults. We only had 2 adults in this unit and they loved it. The kitchen was well stocked and it was a perfect location near the Dive shop and entry to The Cliff Dive site. The pool is right behind this unit as well.

The Hamlet Oasis Resort is conveniently located and the apartment we rented from Ingrid is great. We visit Bonaire frequently and have tried different types of locations before. As divers, this apartment is tough to beat. The resort has a nice house reef, there is a dive shop on premises and if you enjoy fixing your own meals, the apartment has a kitchen with everything you need to do just that. Bonaire does have some good restaurants, but we prefer to fix our meals and put in as much time diving as we can. This works very well for us. There are several supermarkets near by and the place is just very convenient. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone with similar dive expectations and looking for a nice place to stay.

This is the 4th time I have stayed in the Hamlet Oasis complex. This was, by far, the nicest and best equipped apartment I have stayed in. Just steps from the dive shop and a great dive site. Ingrid was an absolute pleasure to deal with - thank you!

Super clean and tidy. Great location. Very responsive manager. Caretakers friendly and helpful. Exactly what we needed for our stay. Thank you very much. We'll be back next time!
