Not forgetting The Magpie famous fish Chip restaurant just a 2min walk away and Whitbys The Angel Wetherspoons which is great for breakfast or a good quality cheaper meal with the usual top branded drinks at knock down prices. This charming house is clean, comfortable, and ideally located to explore beautiful Whitby. Comfortable beds, good shower, everything we needed. (Just a warning if you are tall: beware of low doorways, inside and at the gate leading to the courtyard!)

My first impression of this property was amazing i! It is such a lovely looking property and inside does not disappoint .It is tucked away but very close to the harbour, shops and beach so very handy for less mobile people .The outstanding feature for us,as we like to be outdoors was the private courtyard area which was perfect.

Gulls Cry Cottage was absolutely delightful with an incredible location for walking Whitby. The courtyard was a beautiful place to relax and recharge. The rooms were well appointed and the house provided all the charm you expect. Colin was wonderful to deal with and very helpful. The book detailing the cottage’s transformation was so interesting.

This cottage was near the major attractions of Whitby , you can walk to the abbey , shops beach and restaurants and cafes without needing your car. Has the advantage of a courtyard that we imagine would be lovely in summer . The owner ensures you are everything on offer which is lovely .

A really lovely cottage in a very quiet location and also very close to the harbour, rail and bus stations and shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Can honestly say it is the best holiday cottage I have ever stayed in and I would definitely return.
