Green Mountain Carriage House with Beautiful Views

I had a great stay at this property. Wonderful sunsets as well as a unique experience. The horses next door are wonderful. Very clean and neat. Wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our stay! The carriage house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved watching the horses in the field and through the barn window! It was so neat to wake up hearing the horses in the barn. The sunset and the firepit were also highlights. Karen is just lovely...thank you!

What a great stay. We stayed at the Green Mountain Carriage House for a weekend while I played in a local hockey tournament. In the mornings we walked the horse trail, and, in the evenings, we enjoyed the cozy comfort of a well-maintained property. Karen was so kind and welcoming and amazing. The dogs on the property were adorable and well behaved. My only complaint would be they should put in a day bed instead of the futon. Our daughter stayed on the futon, and it was not as comfortable as a day bed would be. The main bedroom was very comfortable, so for a couple this retreat is perfect!

We had a fantastic weekend at the carriage house! Karen and Greg were super welcoming while also giving us plenty of privacy. The views are great from the bedroom windows and our son enjoyed watching the horses through the “horse tv” window in the living area. We’d love to come stay again soon, thank you!

Outstanding… Karen was a great host… the carriage house was very clean and comfortable. Definitely a unique experience having the horses right there where you can see them through a viewing window. The decision by the host to point the couch to look out a gigantic picture window next to a fireplace was also a very nice idea instead of pointing to a television. Thank you for the great stay.

Perfect little midweek getaway in the Green Mountain state!

We have traveled all over the world. This was the most unique place we have stayed. Our son and dog loved seeing the neighbors through the window. The house was extremely clean and check in was a breeze.

Amazing stay! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away and have a peaceful location to unwind and enjoy the scenery and wonderful accommodations.

The accommodations were beautiful, clean, comfortable. One of the owners, Karen was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the Mama of 3 dogs and horses - all of whom we interacted. My husband and I certainly plan on returning sometime in the future! Thank you!!!!

The place was clean, awesome view, and good location for skiing at Cochran and quick to get to Burlington.

The carriage house was such a warm, comfy, and inviting space after staying in a bedroom at an older inn earlier on our three state trip. The house was clean and spacious and the view beautiful, with the fall colors brilliantly displayed across the pasture and boarded by the beautiful mountains in the distance. The windows throughout allow a feeing of being one with the outside nature and beautiful skies. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

We loved our visit! The views were beautiful and we enjoyed meeting some of the resident dogs. The space was clean and had everything we needed. My favorite part of the trip was sitting outside and enjoying the fire pit, while watching the sun set over the property!

Karen and Gregg has their carriage house set up so well. What a pleasure to watch the horses. Loved just walking in and feeling how welcoming and clean it felt.

This was a beautifully designed VRBO - immaculately clean and furnished with everything a traveler could want! It was cozy, yet spacious. The location was stunning - and so unique - we could see the horses on the other side of the building through a glass partition! The countryside was beautiful, as were the pastures and road heading to the carriage house. We so appreciated the pet friendly location, as our rescue terrier travels with us. He found the pet bed to be just right. Our accommodations were very comfortable, with both a powder room downstairs and an upstairs bath. The upstairs laundry was also a big plus! Hope to return soon as there was a lot to see and do in the area.

Perfect. As described only better. Property is very well maintained. Unique property that made our Vermont vacation one we will always remember.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. Loved the everything about it- the view, the cleanliness, and of course the horses! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking in the area for a quick or extended stay.

The carriage house was as lovely, if not more so, than the pictures and the surroundings were peaceful and idyllic. The hosts' were quick to answer any questions we had and their hospitality was amazing. The location is great, only 20-30 minutes away to Burlington or Shelburne. This is a total win and a no-brainer for any vacation in Vermont.

Clean space with open living room/kitchen. Very nice host. Carriage house spa e connected to horse barn. Owners thought to put a window looking into the barn which was nice for watching the 3 beautiful horses. Downside of that is heading the occasional banging of horses in their stalls in the middle of the night and early morning, but not too much of a disturbance. Loves the dog who came to greet us and would stop by for visits.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful with great views. The girls had fun watching the horses. Access to the property was very easy, parking was convenient and we had everything we needed.

We had an incredible time! House was super clean and had everything we needed, the host was friendly, and our three year old son loved the horses, dogs, and chickens. The views are amazing and the couch and bed were super comfortable. We would definitely love to return!
