Green Lake, WI. Little House. Handsome Private Vacation Cottage

Fantastic location and really appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us. Cleanliness and amenities were lacking; blankets did not smell fresh, dirty dishes in cupboard, 3 lighters and not one worked, no salt, pepper or oil - the basics were just not there. There was zero communication from the host to messages I sent prior to checking in and after leaving. The cottage is rustic and cute but the furniture was not the most comfortable (but that is a personal preference). It has so much potential to be 10/10. We stayed 2 out of our 3 nights booked.

Such a peaceful and laid back place to escape the busyness of life. Just what I needed and everything so very comfortable.

Dirty, nothing matched, only 4 forks and the most disgusting fry pan I’ve ever seen. Half the mismatched lamps didn’t work. Dirty throw rug in kitchen. The place was terrible. We only stayed one of our three nights. I think I’m entitled to some money back but won’t get it. Looks nothing like the pictures.

Just what we needed for quick weekend getaway

Great stay —Linda, the host, was so friendly and met us on arrival . Everything you need for classic, rustic fishing cabin.. we had a great time — and fishing was good !! For a trout charter — go through Charlie Walker thru Big Green Lake .. we would love to come in again in the future

This cottage could be SO much better. It needs a thorough cleaning inside and outside! Maybe some fresh paint as well. We saw numerous cob webs and sliders on the furniture inside. The outside furniture was nasty dirty and didn't feel comfortable sitting in anything outside. However one night we did sit on the bench in front. We were never able to connect to WiFi, messaged owner a few times, she did reply. But still kept receiving reply incorrect password.The last evening, was the only time we had seen the owner Lynda did tell us she had a injured leg also had recently lost her husband. So we did feel bad for her. However we are charged the cleaning fees. This all didn't just happen to be dirty within a week or so. The cottage could really be quaint with all the antique furniture with some updating and major cleaning.

Wonderful cottage! Perfect for lake life. The host Linda was absolutely wonderful. Close to Riley's Pub, quick walk to Sandy Beach. Very cozy.

Nostalgic furnishings with everything you needed for quite stay. Host wes friendly and dogs are welcome.

Was small but that was fine. Fan in Living room needed to be change out. Little fans needs to be clean. More information about how to close windows ( rain ). Otherwise it was fine. Maybe more on tv information.

Cute cabin, clean and great location. Walking distance to lake and beach as well as bar/grill with great food. Only drawback is no AC but had fans in every room. And beds were hard so bring foam toppers. Owner lives next door so is available for any issues, but we had none.

Perfect location, awesome property manager. We had a great stay!
