Do yourself a favour and book here! My partner and I stayed at Green Clough Farm for just short of a month while we were transitioning into our move up North from London. It was beyond expectations how beautiful and welcoming the property is. We were incredibly comfortable and happy throughout our entire stay - no problems at all. Great value for money. We only rented a car for the drive up on arrival and also departure. The weeks inbetween when we didn't have a car was absolutely fine, as we would walk to Thornton to catch a bus to Bradford or elsewhere if needed. The area is peaceful and quiet, with lots of farm animals around and nice walks to do. The farm shop up the road is fantastic - much bigger than I expected and had everything we could think of. We cooked at home every day in the sweet kitchen that had everything you would need - even the cupboard in the laundry had extra appliances if you were wanting to do some fancier cooking or baking. My only point is that perhaps some new stronger and sharper cutting knives would be a good investment. There is a washer and dryer for laundry. The living room is so cosy and spacious, provided with a large fireplace and full sky tv! The bedroom is beautiful with a gorgeous view, and extremely comfortable bedding. Bathroom was great. All in all I would very much recommend this accomodation and I would absolutely love to stay again. Yvonne is a sweet woman and a lovely host. Thankyou for making this time so enjoyable.
