Born and raised in this area. Just back to visit friends and family. Staying at grandmas cottage felt like just that. Thanks.

The cottage was quaint and met the needs we had just fine. Great working heat and plenty to cook with if desired, coffee was fantastic! The only unexpected thing was the house located directly next to the cottage (I’d estimate less than 12 feet to the left). In the original photos I saw that convinced me to book, it appeared the cottage was more private than it actually is, but we still had an overwhelming positive stay!

The rental was great. Very convenient to what we needed. We will make every attempt to stay there again next year.

We loved the beauty of the surroundings, and the peace and quiet that make it a very restful place. We met the hosts and they were very hospitable and kind. The views of the lake provide wonderful opportunities for sketching and painting—and for simply enjoying! And, the cottage itself is beautifully decorated and very welcoming.

We were looking for a place to go where we could have a relaxing time and not to have to worry about anything. We found that at Grandmas cottage. Other than to buy groceries at a nearby Walmarts,culture shock, we did not leave the cottage. We read books and spent some time watching geese. It was interesting to watch their behavior. The trip only took a little over an hour. We live in Chestertown and this was a positive factor because we are finding that long journeys are becoming tedious. There was nothing wanting it was all there.

Between Griffith lake with beautiful scenery and a charming cottage with a wonderful owner- it was a perfect stay!! This is a special place with all the amenities you will be looking for and more! The location is centrally located with you just minutes from Central Milford and then a return to the Grandma’s cottage at Griffith’s Lake. Trust my opinion- you will remember this special place And return.

Amazing get away - super quiet and relaxing- Will visit again -

My husband and I enjoyed another wonderful and relaxing several days at Grandma’s Cottage. This was our 2nd time, and we look forward to coming back. The location is ideal: close to businesses but away from the hustle and bustle on a small, beautiful lake, centrally located in Delaware. This makes for easy day trips to the coast (Rehoboth Beach & Lewes, DE, and Ocean City, MD), Dover, Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, Chincoteague, VA, and more.The cottage had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. We prepared a few meals and didn't need to buy anything unexpected. It was refreshing to have linens, towels, and other essentials provided. There was nothing we could think of that was missing. The cottage is nicely decorated, comfortable, well-maintained, and very clean.Helen and TJ are wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed chatting with them again and getting Helen's wonderful recommendations. This was the perfect getaway for us and just what we needed. We would not hesitate to stay at Grandma’s Cottage again in the future.

This is my 4th or 5th time at Grandma’s Cottage and as usual, it was excellent. The cottage is as described, the location is ideal and the hospitality is awesome. I love the sound of the geese on the lake. Thank you for providing me with a great place to get away and relax.

Everything was in great order. Very welcoming, homey place. Feels like Grandma just stepped out for a minute. Perfect location!

We had an awesome time staying here. They were so welcoming and the directions were super easy and straightforward for the cottage. They gave us a plethora of food options in this book that was super helpful with choosing food. But overall was a great experience and will definitely be staying there again!

Great place.

My only slight issue was the AC. The owner offered to install two window units. Just really didn’t wanna bother. We had a small AC unit in the LR. We were just not used to the humidity. Other than that it was very quaint. I would stay again for sure. Clean, cute and well stocked. Loved the outdoors. And the bathroom is small. I stayed with my daughter so it worked.

Once again, I had a great stay at Grandma’s Cottage. This charming, quaint cozy cottage allows for easy access to the beaches. It’s a great place for a quiet getaway.

Helen was very attentive and sweet and the cottage was peaceful and cute.

This was a cute little cottage right on the water. Was perfect for our lacrosse tournament this past weekend and we would stay here again if we ever come back to DE for a tournament. Realxing evenings sitting by the firepit watching the water.

I needed a place to stay that was a decent drive from beaches but away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd, grandmas cottage was perfect for the weekend for my spouse and I!

Safe, tranquility at its best. Surrounded by nature, and cozy to fully relax. Excellent hosts Thank you for sharing this ABSOLUTE GEM.

Enjoyed my short stay of peace and quiet that I needed for a few days away to focus on a project. The place worked out just fine. This is my 3rd stay at Grandma’s Cottage and it didn’t disappoint. It’s quaint, convenient to all things Milford, Dover and the beaches. I consider it my home away from home when I am in the area. I’ll be back.

Grandma's cottage was so quaint, welcoming and nostalgic. The cottage was clean the property was clean. It was so very quiet yet only 5 minutes from so many stores for shopping. It felt like a warm hug from Grandma just walking thru the door. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back! 10 stars

Grandma’s Cottage was very spacious, clean, cozy & close to many stores, restaurants, hiking trails, fishing lakes & even the Casino. The hosts (Helen & TJ) could not have provided a better experience. Everything you could need was provided. This was our 2nd time staying.

5 nights in grandsma cottage and we enjoy every things...

Our family was in town for a sports tournament weekend. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable for the 3 of us! We were able to rest and unwind after long days on the fields. We were able to cook meals and had a lovely stay. The host communication was great and easy through the app! Thank you for an excellent get away!
